17/03/2024: Place to avoid. I book a table for 2 people, arrival at 12.30pm, restaurant still half empty but us placed behind a corner next to the oven. Every 5 minutes a deafening bell rang in the waitress' ear to warn that the pizzas were ready. Ordered bruschetta 1 portion, a fried calamari, a slice and a portion of chips. An unspeakable wait... the plate of cold calamari arrives, I point this out and ask for a slice of lemon. “I'll have it done again in two minutes and I'll bring you the lemon” after half an hour another waitress comes by and grumpily tells me that I had had the dish remade anyway. The cut was tiny, lukewarm and not worth the €26 asked for. I had lunch at 2.15pm pissed off at all the mix-ups, the frying was soaked in oil. Bill €79 with all the inconveniences they could have discounted the cover charge instead nothing. Don't go to this place where they don't know how to work

15/03/2024: Abitando a Verbania ci andiamo se non tutte le settimane molto frequentemente quando soprattutto vogliamo gustare una pizza che per leggerezza ha poche uguali. Altre portate di menù primi e secondi di buona qualità e il personale fa un servizio più che soddisfacente. D'estate si pranza e cena in piazza accanto al vecchio olmo che più che vecchio è antico, splendido e immenso.
