06/09/2025: I went to this pizzeria with my family for pizza after searching online for good pizza in Saronno, and I came across Pizzeria Mandolino. From the photos I saw online, I knew the pizza was delicious, and I wasn't wrong! It was the third or fourth time I've eaten a truly delicious pizza in my life! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely go there again. The guys are all young, kind, and fast, and they deserve five stars!
30/08/2025: I'm giving 3 stars, which is a middle ground because: 1. I booked yesterday, August 29th, 3 days in advance through The Fork (30% discount for 8 people). I let them know that there are 9 of us and they said no problem....
When it came time to pay, the discount wasn't there.
2. We ordered 8 pizzas and 1 lasagna from the menu.
8 delicious pizzas.
Lasagna was served late (we already had our hands in advance, "we won't count it because of the delay").
Maybe it would have been better to say, given the absurd appearance, red lasagna with basil leaves, but above all, the rancid flavor, I WON'T COUNT IT BECAUSE IT WAS INEDIBLE.
We ended up with uncounted lasagna (it should have been reported) and uncounted bitters.
Honestly, I'm just saying that it's absurd to give out dishes that aren't capable of producing....
FOR THE PIZZA, OK, THE REST IS NOT.

06/09/2025: Arriving at 11:15 PM, we were greeted with professionalism and kindness, even though the restaurant closes at midnight.
We enjoyed the menu with appetizers and a mixed grill.
Cured meats and cheeses were served with light and piping hot fried gnocco.
The meat served was excellent quality.
The price was absolutely competitive.
Certainly an excellent restaurant in a suburban area.

13/08/2025: Excellent. What's truly refreshing is realizing that you can go away from a place for a while, and when you return, you find it hasn't changed. A few years later, I returned, and the value for money is truly fantastic, as is the service and the quality of the atmosphere and food. The equally courteous staff is professional and flawless. Definitely go there. It's going to be hard not to be satisfied.
12/08/2025: A bit pricey, a plate of pasta carbonara costs €14.
For a pub, the prices are those of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The place is clean, affordable, with parking, just a short walk from Prato di Campoli in the heart of the Ernici mountains.

05/07/2025: It hurts me when I have to give a thumbs down, unfortunately despite the expectations that brought us here, the quality of the food is really low, but also the cooking is really insufficient, overcooked pasta and bacon, ??? I don't understand everything but if you have water and tomato on the plate you understand that something is wrong, floury loin with acceptable tuna sauce, and potatoes tending to acidic and extremely floury.

The bread, wine and beer are saved .. then..
Unfortunately a really negative surprise. Nice atmosphere.
Staff? Place presumably managed by the elderly owners, with active and kind help in the dining room. Pizzas are also offered, which at first sight are very thin but it is clear that there was a request from the customers so.. will it be good?? I can't say.
Honestly.. I don't recommend it.. in fact it should be avoided.. everyone draws their own conclusions from their own experience.

The porchetta with buttered zucchini and carrots as a side dish was exquisite.
A family-friendly and easy-going atmosphere, kind and friendly staff.
Excellent tiramisu

The first time was in the late 80s, for a pizza party of elementary school class...more than 30 years have passed but they are always exceptional, thin, crispy and delicious pizza, light and digestible, top quality ingredients, always impeccably clean oven, very kind, helpful and always welcoming with warmth! For me in Saronno the best pizzeria is theirs! Try it and believe it!

Let's take appetizers of cold cuts: all cut with the same thickness, the ham was a steak, you can't cut the mortadella with 3 mm thickness and do the same for the ham and everything else.
First courses ordered not very tasty. Infinite waiting times…….. The wine was good.
Service: some polite some less.
Ah the music was not bad.
