01/03/2026: Had lunch at Il Ghiottone and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole, Parmigiana di Melanzane, and some white pizza served as table bread. The Vongole was simple and well executed — fresh clams, nicely balanced garlic and olive oil, and perfectly cooked pasta with good texture. A classic Italian dish done right. The Parmigiana was flavorful but not heavy, with a good balance between the tomato sauce and melted mozzarella, finished with fresh basil. The white pizza (similar to focaccia) was included in the €2 coperto per person. It had a nice crispy exterior and soft interior, making it a great starter while waiting for the mains. Prices are reasonable for Italy, portions are satisfying, and the atmosphere feels like a relaxed, family-style restaurant. A solid choice if you’re looking for traditional Italian comfort food.

30/12/2025: A small but very welcoming restaurant and pizzeria with very kind and competent staff. We went there for an end-of-year dinner and we had a good time. I give 3 stars only because we waited quite a while before eating and because the portions, in my opinion, were too small for the price you pay. Overall, a good restaurant-pizzeria.

27/12/2025: We went for Christmas. I usually notice that during the holidays, when restaurants cook the same things for everyone, the quality drops significantly. I'd say not here, the food was definitely top-notch, but the real highlight of the place is the fish! A pleasant discovery.

03/02/2026: The deep-dish pizzas are delicious! The timing could be improved... Takeout pizzas are ready at least 20 minutes later than the time they tell you when you order over the phone. Other than that, their pizza is worth the wait!

The staff is always friendly and attentive to requests, and they also have a business lunch menu. The average price is slightly higher, but the portions and quality make it worth it. Highly recommended.

20/07/2025: Excellent Modenese breakfast with coffee and fried gnocco with salami: simple but well done. Fast and direct service, clearly a classic neighborhood bar where people pass by every day. There's a family atmosphere.

23/01/2026: Decent pizza, pasta, and the daily fish special were very good. The mussels were a bit disappointing as many were closed. Be aware that if you order appetizers, they don't wait until you've finished before sending the rest of your meal. Good establishment.

21/12/2025: Good pizza, ambiance needs updating, prices definitely too high. Cover charge €3.50 per person with a plastic tablecloth. A medium Ichnusa beer is €7. Topped pizzas start at €11. I don't think I'll be back. We went with fork pay.
