18/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday, which was, as expected, very crowded. I don't usually complain about small inconveniences, but on this occasion, there were several issues that compromised the experience. The service was completely disorganized: the first courses arrived about 10 minutes apart, which was unacceptable for a table of four, not to mention the decidedly long wait. Furthermore, dessert was served about 40 minutes after our coffee and liqueurs. We had also ordered baked potatoes, which never arrived, but we found them on our bill anyway (we only noticed once we got home). The food, all in all, wasn't bad: perhaps a little too much oil in the spaghetti with clams and the arrosticini served without salt, but overall, the quality was decent and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the service, which seemed unprofessional for the price paid. I understand the difficulties of a struggling industry and the need to maximize revenue, but when service and cuisine aren't adequate for the volume of customers, you inevitably risk disappointing someone. Making things even more unpleasant was the fact that the table next to ours, clearly made up of acquaintances of the waiter, ate first, despite having ordered after us: dessert arrived promptly, they even had an ice bucket for the wine, and the waiter chatted with them for a long time. We felt like second-class customers, which is unacceptable considering the final bill. I'm sorry, but overall the experience was a negative one.
14/01/2026: Two different days in the same week, completely different portions... This isn't the first time I've noticed discrepancies in portions and dishes at this restaurant after years of frequenting it. I'm a regular customer, but this time I'm very disappointed. After pointing out to management the huge difference between the photo of the dish taken a few days earlier and the one taken on my last visit a few days later that week, instead of an apology and admission of the mistake, I hear: "Next time you come, tell me it's you and I'll make you a larger portion." At the checkout, a paltry liqueur was offered... all customers MUST be treated equally since everyone pays the same amount. Unacceptable... I hope it never happens again, otherwise I'll never set foot in this restaurant again... Keep your eyes peeled and point out this discrepancy to management if it happens to you too...
