07/07/2025: Very good pizza, but very long waiting times and consequently mediocre service! PART 2 I would like to offer a more detailed and exhaustive response to the restaurant's comment, in the hope that you can better understand the inconvenience caused by the excessive waiting time for a simple pizza... The pizza was really excellent, nothing to say about the quality of the food, which is absolutely worth it. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience was decidedly disappointing due to the service. The restaurant was half empty, there were not 200 people at all, several tables had already been served, and yet we had to wait about 20 minutes just to order, and then an hour to receive the pizza. We arrived at 7:55 pm and ate at 9:20 pm! Furthermore, after eating the pizza we ordered, we asked if it was possible to order another pizza, but we were told that there would be a long wait, even though the situation in the room seemed quite manageable. It's really a shame, because the quality of the pizza deserves a more attentive and organized service.

05/07/2025: I met up with my group of friends on a random Saturday night to eat a pizza. We were welcomed right away and were able to order right away. The bottles of water arrived right away as usual and after a fair amount of waiting the pizzas, after having asked twice to order Coca Cola. Once we had finished the meal we were also brought the drinks (just in time to enjoy them together with the main course), also to avoid getting demoralized and to be able to finish our drinks we decided to add another meter of pizza to the order (naively and trustingly) which after a good three quarters of an hour still did not arrive. We got up from the table at 11:15 pm with the intention of leaving and only after having pointed it out were we informed that the last pizza was taken off the bill autonomously (we were not warned of any delay in this regard) and I deduce from this the situation was not an isolated case. The service, in addition to being slow (the fault of the management and the few staff recruited, certainly not the waitresses) was also accompanied by total indifference and disinterest (we asked the same things several times to both waitresses in the room without any response). Too bad, expectations were high having frequented the place assiduously in the past. It will be for the not next

30/05/2025: Locale ampio, probabilmente da rinnovare nelle sedute.. cibo buono, un po' misere le porzioni in particolare la grigliata mista a cui potevano aggiungere anche un po' più di insalata. Conto da controllare, avevano inserito tre portate in più ed un coperto in piu

03/07/2025: I've been eating it for a while now and I can say for sure: this pizza is a level above all others. No refined flours, only real, natural ingredients, and you can taste it. Every bite makes you understand what quality means. Real compliments.

27/04/2025: I'm a rider. Unfortunately, the owner, not knowing our business well, misunderstood a situation: sometimes we are assigned a first order and, once we arrive at the restaurant, the platform automatically assigns us an additional order, paid only 1.30 euros. I would like to clarify that the fees are established directly by the platform and we riders have no decision-making power in this regard. Unfortunately, such low fees don't even cover the actual costs of a delivery. I find it very disrespectful that my refusal of an order was judged in a rude way, especially considering the respect I have always had towards every establishment. After this negative experience, I will not make any further deliveries to this establishment, unless the owner wants to acknowledge the mistake and publicly apologize for what happened.

21/04/2025: Bello il locale , mangiato molto bene, sia la pizza ma soprattutto il pesce !!! Ottimo !!!! Prezzi onesti , ma soprattutto un ospitalità strepitosa , trova sempre un posto anche quando è pieno !!!

09/03/2025: Premetto che lavoro anche io in ambito hospitality e penso che un atteggiamento simile non sia accettabile. Abbiamo aspettato diversi minuti senza che nessuno chiedesse cosa desideravamo, due camerieri che ogni tanto ci lanciavano un'occhiata senza proferire verbo, abbiamo anche pensato che fosse una sorta di scherzo... alla fine abbiamo optato per un ristorante vicino. Consiglio vivamente un cambio di atteggiamento.....o di professione. Ovviamente non posso esprimermi sul cibo....magari era buonissimo, ma non avrò modo di scoprirlo.

21/07/2025: I’ve been coming to Cattolica every summer since I was a child, and Ristorante Pappagallo has become a true favorite. We’ve tried other places over the years, but somehow we always end up coming back here. Maybe it’s because we know the owner, or maybe it’s just that we’ve grown to love the food – either way, it never disappoints. The staff are always kind, the atmosphere is lively (especially at dinner – go a bit early or late to skip the rush), and the food is consistently great. I always recommend the tortellini pasticciati or one of their pizzas straight from the oven. We usually start with a fornarina con aglio – a simple but delicious appetizer. We bring all our friends and family here, and they all love it too. Definitely a place that feels like home every summer!

02/06/2025: After several delays I lost hope, always half an hour late, wrong pizza, they try to justify themselves by saying that maybe they didn't specify well, without even apologizing. Too bad because the pizza is good.

24/01/2025: I don't know if the reviews are paid for with the money saved by not having to make receipts. So low and crispy that cooking it so long definitely helped with the charring! The black under the pizza was great, the lack of salt was perfect.

24/01/2025: The worst pizza I've ever had. It was embarrassing to serve it to my friends: five pizzas, all five charred. The only taste in my mouth was burnt. At least one taste. Add to that the fact that you didn't even give me a receipt, and the only positive thing about coming to you is that now I know where not to go again.

18/03/2025: Sono tornato dopo 2 giorni per capire meglio. Una volta spiegato che, nonostante la ricevuta fosse stata fatta a chi pagò (non a me, infatti pensavo fosse stata omessa....) avevo riscontrato comunque un errore. La disponibilità di Charlie mi ha stupito tanto che mi ha invitato a pranzare come suo ospite. Ho accettato e non volendo approfittare dell'ospitalità (nonostante mi avesse mostrato vari piatti da scegliere) ho optato perlinguine allo scoglio e acqua minerale. Mi è tornato con un piatto da 2 portate (dice che avendo scelto solo una portata d'abitudine aumenta la quantità) scardinando la mia intenzione di mettermi a dieta. Durante l'attesa mi ha portato un piatto di peperoni arrosto ottimi e, una volta terminato il piatto, dopo il caffè mi ha offerto la Sambuca (Molinari) lasciandomi al tavolo l'intera bottiglia. I prezzi sono contenuti ma il menu di mezzogiorno è ulteriormente allettante con un rapporto qualità/prezzo vincente. Charlie è sempre sorridente e ha un atteggiamento molto accogliente. Tornerò coi rinforzi.
