09/01/2026: The pizza and pinsa were very good, the service was prompt but quite slow. The restaurant was very busy, which could be the reason. The seating was quite close together.

08/01/2026: I've known Pizzeria Smile for a long time and have been coming here for years, so I thought I already knew what to expect... but they truly surprised me. Even though they never closed, in the last few weeks they've done a soft redesign of the place that is simply amazing: modern colors, a warm, welcoming, and harmonious atmosphere. It's become one of those places where you walk in and feel right at home, with pleasure, without rushing. I also discovered a gem that isn't even on the menu: the spelt and chickpea dough. Just ask the pizza chef (Uma Uma makes it for you with ease) and it's something exceptional, light, and incredibly tasty. Truly a treat. And as if that weren't enough, they've also created a homemade dessert section: each one better than the last. Some friends and I tried a mix of desserts and were thrilled. I tried the lemon one, the black cherry one with crumble, and another one whose name I can't even remember... but they were all amazing. Sincere compliments to Pino and the entire staff: passion, quality, and care are evident and palpable. Highly recommended, truly. Go there!

09/01/2026: We had pizza with my son-in-law and his relatives, who were coming from Naples. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed: the pizza was rubbery and below expectations. There are much better pizzerias in the Modena area. We ate it on the spot and didn't take it away.

07/01/2026: Excellent food and very kind and helpful staff. The fish is delicious, as are the pizzas.

10/01/2026: We booked for 7:30 PM and were seated at a table near the pizza counter, which smelled nauseating. Luckily, we asked for and got a table in the dining room. The service was super fast, but the pizzas were too thin and burned on the bottom, so you had to eat them with a fork and knife.

02/01/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant on Christmas Eve. The menu was set and looked very good on paper. However, it wasn't. Several courses lacked flavor and weren't well-prepared. The mussels in the appetizer were cold. The pasta was raw and inedible; in fact, we all left it on our plates. The baked sea bream was cold; I asked for a change and was simply told that since the dish was cold, it would get cold quickly. The panettone was of poor quality. The service was inattentive and excessively slow; in about two hours we only ate the appetizer, and there was the set menu... Really high price for what was offered. Not recommended.

29/12/2025: Never again....the fish was poor quality. Paid 70 euros per person.

17/10/2025: They are welcoming and polite. They prepared my take out even though I just walked-in and asked for it. They catered to all my requests and also switched to speaking in English. Not only was the food delicious, it felt like an embrace because of their hospitality and graciousness. Recommended!

06/10/2025: The paella was delicious, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, they messed up the orders, and our takeout paella was delivered almost half an hour late. Also, the prices have gone up since our last visit; we ordered six fish-only portions and six mixed portions, for a total of €160. Way too much for a takeout.

14/11/2025: Delicious pizza, thin crust, lots of different flavors, very unique. Whole wheat pizza is also available. In the summer, you can sit outside, although the inside is truly quaint, with its dedication to rock music! Prices are reasonable. Anyone who loves rock music is a must-visit, just like anyone who loves good pizza!
