18/09/2025: I went to this place for the first time with my girlfriend. I'd heard about "Monti la pizza fritta" and followed it on social media, but I'd never had the chance to try it. The place is located in the center of Battipaglia; you can park a few hundred meters away and walk. It's always a good idea to book on weekends to ensure a seat. This place has a very original look; as soon as you enter, it feels like you've stepped back in time, with a spectacular, meticulously designed setting. It makes a truly evocative impact, accompanied by delicious Neapolitan background music. We tried quite a few things: the frittatina, fries, fried pizza, bruschetta, and finally the fried dessert, all washed down with good beer. The menu is truly spoiled for choice. After ordering, you're given a light that sounds as soon as your order is ready. We sat down, and after just 10 minutes, our order was ready! Spectacular, fast service. Everything was delicious, and I didn't suffer from any stomach upset or acid reflux. I'm happy with this experience, and I'll definitely be spending more evenings there with friends. 16/09/2025: We stopped one evening while passing through and were impressed by the delicious food and the friendliness of Rita and her husband. In fact, we returned. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: It's hard to find a better pizza in Battipaglia. Light dough, superb ingredients, courteous and helpful staff, excellent draft beer (and that's no given). And, crucially, they respect the Battipaglia pizza tradition, which is soft and shallow. So, here you won't find air-infused crusts, "gummy" dough, or chewy, bubblegum-like textures, which are now popular everywhere, even in our country, where we imitate the pseudo-Neapolitan pizza.

14/10/2025: Welcoming pizzeria, friendly staff. I tried the pizza in a "ruoto" and I have to say I really liked it. I tried it twice in a row and it didn't disappoint. The fried foods are also very good. I'll definitely be back 😊

11/10/2025: Amazing pizza, truly excellent, and the price was right. Great experience, coffee included. The only shame was the slightly long wait, probably due to some mix-up, as it wasn't the same for the other tables.

13/10/2025: We were returning from Rome by bus and, being pressed for time, we stopped at Pizzeria Positano in Battipaglia. At the register, we ordered 10 pizzas: 8 Margheritas and 2 with anchovies, to take away. When we specifically asked about the preparation time, the cashier assured us it would take just 5 minutes. 15 minutes passed. In a hurry, we picked up the boxes without opening them. During the trip, we noticed that one was completely empty: a Margherita was missing. So we called the pizzeria, and the same cashier, whose voice was easily recognizable, tried to impersonate someone else and shrugged off the responsibility, saying we should call back the next day. Situations like this only fuel negative stereotypes, even harming those who, in the same region, work with skill and dedication. So much so that the price of a Margherita was €5, the same price at which they value their own professionalism.

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. We ordered 10 pizzas and they handed us a completely empty box, with no pizza inside. It was inappropriate and very disappointing. A complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. I strongly advise against this pizzeria until they improve their professionalism, service, and attention. Karma is a wheel.

18/06/2025: Tonight I found this grill on Google, my wife and I arrived, there was a lady and a gentleman, I thought they were the owners, they asked for a mixed tray of meat and a portion of chips and an empty sandwich, I tell you what a unique kindness Everything we took was delicious I recommend it to you 💯 x 💯 All the meat is cooked on the grill

16/09/2025: We stumbled upon this pizzeria on a Saturday night somewhat by chance, but it was a truly pleasant discovery. The pizza is served on a wicker tray without cutlery. Quality ingredients and crispy dough. We ordered two pizzas, and they even delivered a mini margherita (a complimentary treat) for our little boy. A much-appreciated touch. The staff is always friendly and helpful, despite the stress of a Saturday night and the many takeout requests.

03/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, sat down, and were pampered. The staff were kind and professional, and the owner was warm and friendly. The fried foods were clearly homemade, with a crispiness and flavor we hadn't had in a long time. The pizza was tasty and light. An experience worth repeating.
