03/03/2024: Stunning seafront location with outdoor tables, the interior is a bit sacrificed compared to the unrealistic number of seats provided. Discreet but not exceptional food and, without prejudice to the quality, even the quantity of the raw material, perhaps, suffers from the ambitions mentioned above, which is why a calarata with baby octopus can become a plate of pasta with fish-flavoured sauce with glutamate (and only a few traces of baby octopus).
Slow, imprecise, approximate service despite the individual efforts and good will of the individual employees in reduced numbers compared to needs. . Average prices but quality-price ratio tending towards low. It is advisable to focus on quality rather than quantity (fewer covers - better service - better overall quality).

19/03/2024: I am a regular customer, Cin Cin with its excellent services at modest prices and its friendly staff fully satisfies my needs and that of my family, both the confectionery department and that of ready meals to take away or to eat immediately at the table.

18/03/2024: The winning card: top quality food; rotisserie (pythons, rice chops, aubergine and tuna meatballs, croquettes) pizzeria, pastry shop with various cakes (the Sacher is very good) and excellent ice creams with many flavors and some truly special (pistachio, fig and walnut cheesecake). Self service with many first and second courses. It has been around for many years and has always stood out for its professionalism and courtesy. A guarantee, unbeatable for everything.

14/01/2024: Il 4 gennaio Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare insieme io e mio fratello i nostri compleanni e pensionamento con una magnifica cena con le nostre famiglie. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dal servizio con camerieri molto professionali, e il cibo di qualità; ottimo antipasto di mare, paccheri all'astice cotti alla perfezione e saporiti, infine il secondo di pesce molto buono. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima e indimenticabile serata fino a mezzanotte in bella compagnia, allietata dalla bella musica suonata con violino dalla bravissima violinista e nuora di mio fratello. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità del titolare e di tutto lo staff, sono stati molto attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo, purtroppo abito a quasi 1000 Km di distanza, ma quando capiterà l'occasione, ci ritornerò.

22/09/2023: The location looks pleasant but the service leaves something to be desired, the food is to be "absolutely avoided"...not even after an hour already in the bathroom with colic etc...absolutely a negative review!

30/09/2023: In una piazza secondaria rispetto al corridoio turistico della via principale, dove bar e ristoranti si allineano ammiccanti ai lati della fiumana turistica, esiste Lucignolo: una vera gemma della gastronomia di Tropea. I giovani gestori ti accolgono con gentilezza e premura e, cosa non da poco oggigiorno, con il sorriso. Il sevizio è attento e veloce, i piatti gustosissimi, avvolgenti. La struncatura con alici fresche e mollica è qualcosa di paradisiaco e non da meno gli involtini di pesce spada e la tagliata di tonno con cipolla caramellata; non da meno gli antipasti. Non c'è davvero nulla che io possa dire che non ci abbia resi felici, in vacanza e, al contempo, a casa. È l'unico ristorante che, in una settimana di Tropea, abbiamo doppiato. Complimenti ragazzi, se dovessimo tornare da quelle parti ci rivedrete al 100%.

22/10/2023: Kann nicht nachvollziehen was dem Bewerter vor mir widerfahren ist, ich kann nichts davon bestätigen.
Service sehr freundlich, flott und gut organisiert. Das Essen- Fisch, Salat, Nudeln, Foccacia-war ausgezeichnet.
Die Atmosphäre dazu ist als Krönung zu sehen.

19/10/2023: Much nicer room than many 4 star hotels. Large, new, equipped with all comforts. Comfortable shower for me as I am 1.85 m tall.
The minus star only because the Grotticelle beach is not close to reach on foot (especially for the uphill return trip)
16/10/2023: We visit this pizzeria now for 12 years. Also off season. Great place , nice food. Friendly staff. Off season a lot of locals which is very nice.

03/11/2023: Food was lovely, a authentic Italian restaurant with locals eating. Although out of season and all the restaurants around our hotel was shut, this was open and was fully booked. The restaurant was well decorated and clean. With a lovely bar seating area and outside seating. I can imagine in the summer it would be lovely for lunch and dinner in the garden. Menu was all in Italian, which was a bit difficult but proves that it’s authentic. We’re going again tonight if we can get a table.

26/02/2024: Cozy but small place, the tables are too close to each other so there is little space for passage, the service was quick, the waiters were kind, the pizza was good even if it was too thin.
18/02/2024: Newly updated, welcoming place, good pizza. I remember eating one Saturday when father Giovanni Paolo Secondo died. It's always a pleasure to come back, even for a quick pizza to take home. The food is also quite good and there are several places to sit. Worth going there for a quiet and pleasant evening. A place that has been around for a long time and knows how to treat customers. The difference and what makes a restaurant a unique place is not just the food.

20/09/2023: Ogni volta che torniamo in vacanza a Parghelia, non manchiamo di andare a mangiare, un paio di volte, in questa trattoria tipica e dobbiamo dire, non rimaniamo mai delusi sia per l'accoglienza, il personale è gentile e premuroso, sia per l'ottima qualità dei piatti proposti. L'altra sera tra gli altri piatti scelti, abbiamo apprezzato le cozze alla diavola una freschissima orata cotta alla griglia, veramente ottima.
Che dire se passate da queste parti, non vi resta altro che provare.
Siamo sicuri che rimarrete soddisfatti.

19/09/2023: Allora ci abbiamo messo un po' a scrivere questa recensione proprio in virtù della nostra precedente esperienza.
Quest'anno, memori della meravigliosa cena di 4 anni fa, siamo tornati da Tonino.
Le quantità si sono notevolmente ridotte e i prezzi sono notevolmente cresciuti.
Ad esempio nostro figlio ha preso una frittura mista che costava 20€ ... peccato che, in questa frittura c'erano 10 anellini (li abbiamo contati) fiduciosi abbiamo pensato fosse un caso quindi ne abbiamo preso una seconda, sempre 20€ sempre 10 anellini. Per fortuna fanno anche la pizza.... e la cena di nostro figlio ci è costata 50€....
E alla fine il conto era pure sbagliato si 4€.
Qualche giorno dopo siamo andati in un altro locale dove con 16€ mio figlio ha mangiato una ottima frittura del peso approssimativo di 400gr. E mia moglie ed io con 22 abbiamo mangiato in due una frittura da 700 gr....

14/10/2023: After driving for an hour and a half to stop in a nightmare of a restaurant, I took fried calamari, not fresh but a good frozen one, even badly cooked, rubbery to eat, a generous splash of lemon, a poor dish, the draft beer is starting to taste sour the winter for the areas that only work in the summer the only thing not to criticize is the portion of chips that even a child could cook not to mention the bill a half fried calamari frozen 18 euros marked among other things on the receipt for mixed fry nice place but terrible food

02/04/2024: EASTER LUNCH 2024. 8 adults and one little girl. Fixed fish-based menu 35 euros per person and 20 for girls. A painful appetizer, a painful first course, a second course fried fish presented frozen, tiny cold shrimps which in Sciacca sell them for 3 euros per kg. and addition of a squid ring, nothing side dish, sorbet, bitters or coffee to queue at the counter. A jug of dirty red loose wine, a jug of aqua white wine and another jug of vinegary red wine. Table next to us pissed off, they left everything on the table like us. We were left hungry because we left everything. We do not recommend it to everyone because they are not up to being restaurateurs.
01/04/2024: I ate in this place on Easter Monday with my family. Terrible experience both in terms of food and staff. Unseasoned, flavourless, cold food. An hour passed between one dish and another. In the end, not even the sorbet was brought to the table, as the glass glasses ran out and we had to go and get it at the cashier with plastic glasses.
All the other people in the room unhappy and dissatisfied with the day.
Not recommended!
