08/02/2026: An excellent experience at the Alle Colonne Restaurant/Pub in Caulonia (RC). The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the staff is friendly and always available...you really feel at home...The pizzas are excellent, with a light dough and quality ingredients, as are the dishes, prepared with care and flavor, especially those from the Caulonia tradition. An ideal place to spend a pleasant evening, and more, with friends. Highly recommended!

23/03/2026: The best arancini in Calabria! The owners are incredibly kind! My only advice is to open a little earlier in the morning so anyone wanting an arancini for lunch can stop by before 12:30.

04/03/2026: The complimentary dessert wasn't tasty; it was too fried. The rest of the dishes were excellent. The service could be a bit reconsidered, as the waitress was overly pushy (like a vulture). The atmosphere was overall okay, although it was a bit cold.

02/11/2025: This didn’t happen today, but on September 15th - I’m only writing now, when emotions have cooled down. Still, the experience was very disappointing. I completely understand the restaurant was full and we were willing to wait for a table. However, the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, and refused to let my 6-year-old daughter use the toilet until we were seated. That’s basic human decency, especially when it concerns a small child. No matter how good the food might be, such an attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!

19/10/2025: This was one of the best meals we've had in Italy! The setting can't be beat - you're right over the water with a direct view of the castle, and the menu offers much more than pizza. The anitpasta seafood board was generously portioned and had a variety of tasty samplings. My wife had the roasted swordfish for dinner, and I had the swordfish panuozzo. Both were delicious in their own distinct way. We felt very welcome despite limited Italian language skills, and the price was very reasonable for such great quality food. We hope to return someday!

For the quality and variety of the menu. For the warm and welcoming location. What can I say? It's a top-notch experience.

06/01/2026: This restaurant is located just steps from Gambarie's main square. The atmosphere is very quaint and welcoming on cold or snowy days, thanks also to the fireplace. Excellent selection of wines and delicious dishes, from appetizers to dessert. Recommended!

27/01/2026: A great place for a quick snack. Both the arancini and panini are delicious, fresh, and really filling. Plenty of space inside, clean. My son and I visited every day. The staff was incredibly friendly, both the lady and the man were very welcoming and kind. One of our favorite places in Reggio.

29/01/2026: We stumbled upon this pizza restaurant by chance and decided to stop and try it, given the numerous reviews. The place is very large and crowded, but despite everything, they seated us in just a few seconds, so the welcome was excellent. Let's just say it's a meeting place for truck drivers, primarily, or people on their lunch break. But let's talk about what we ate. The portions were certainly generous, enough to make many people's mouths water, but often, abundance doesn't mean goodness. In fact, I have to give the first courses a five because (and I'm talking about what we tried) they were flavorless and not of sufficient quality to be memorable. I give the second courses a 7; yes, I'm going out on a limb here because I was very satisfied. For better or worse, you still leave feeling quite full. Quick service, a 7 Cleanliness: a 6 Bathrooms: wheelchair accessible, acceptable cleanliness. Ample parking. The place is wheelchair accessible. Bill: low prices Would I recommend going? If you don't want to spend a lot and can handle the TRUCK-SIZED menu and portions, then please feel free to come.

15/01/2026: A historic restaurant in the city where you can also enjoy top-notch rotisserie. The selection is vast, and despite the fact that it's always crowded, the wait is minimal thanks to the excellent organization. You'll realize the overall high quality when you digest the food perfectly and don't go home with the smell of fried food clinging to your clothes. Highly recommended.

09/01/2026: Nothing special. Arancini with ragù and minced meat can be seen under a microscope. They're no longer the usual arancini, they're even smaller.

18/02/2026: A very positive experience, highly qualified staff able to respond to every customer need, everything very good and well-prepared, like their fabulous, fresh and perfect tart. Excellent products, absolutely recommended, it is also easily accessible and passable.
