26/08/2025: Very well-kept restaurant, with a well-maintained garden; it doesn't even feel like you're in the city center.
My girlfriend and I have been going to this restaurant for two years now, as we always spend a few days in Sulmona around mid-August.
The food is truly good, perfectly cooked, and the menu isn't overly extensive, featuring traditional Abruzzo dishes.
Highly recommended!!!
P.S. Their babà is so good it would make even the most traditional Neapolitan restaurant jealous; definitely worth a try!
23/08/2025: We ate here last night and ordered. They brought us appetizers and first courses, but they didn't bring me a second course. We waited, but nothing happened; we were forced to cancel my second course because it was already too late. Then, just as I'd finished my first course and they'd already cleared my dirty plate, they cleared our table, which means they'd completely forgotten to bring the second courses. In conclusion, we had to wait 2 hours for appetizers and first courses, which is truly unbelievable.

Pizza Diego with shrimps, and pistachios my husband loved.
Pizza Della Sportivo was with gorgonzola, cherry tomatoes mozzarella salami and garlic oil was very tasty.. friendly and helpful staff

20/08/2025: Pizza restaurant located in the beautiful setting of Piazza Garibaldi in Sulmona, adjacent to the same Church of San Filippo, from which it takes its name. Very nice and characteristic place, very good pizza even if not cooked in a wood oven; the red ones are better than the white pizzas. I will definitely go back to try it as a restaurant and not as a pizzeria. Average prices and very fast service. Highly recommended
04/08/2025: We arrived in Sulmona and dined here on our first night: it was an excellent experience! The carbonara and the pork tenderloin with Tropea onions were simply amazing.
The next night we decided to change restaurants... and I greatly regretted it. After a bad experience elsewhere, we returned here for the following two evenings: it has become our safe haven.
Special praise goes to the ladies in the dining room: always kind, smiling, and helpful, even when the place is full and the workload is considerable. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for service, but I assure you it's worth the wait: the kitchen works with care, and every dish arrives at your table with quality and attention to detail. Enjoy the atmosphere; they really give it their all.

09/05/2025: Il Ristorante si trova nel centro storico di Sulmona, l'atmosfera e' cordiale e amichevole. Nonostante la folla, era una serata col pienone, ci hanno fatti accomodare e serviti in tempi piu' che ragionevoli. Abbiamo sperimentato vari piatti, tutti buoni, una lode per gli arrosticini davvero superlativi e il ricco antipasto. Servizio cortese e cordiale.
Poi, complice la stanchezza e l'ora tarda, dimentico al ristorante la mia borsa con tutto il contante per le vacanze, occhiali da sole e documenti. Il giorno dopo ritrovo tutto al ristorante custodito dalla gentilissima Elisa che non ha neanche accettato una piccola mancia. Purtroppo questa volta non sono riuscita a ritornare ma al prossimo viaggio a Sulmona saremmo sicuramente felici di tornare. Davvero un grazie sentito ad Elisa e a tutto lo staff. A presto!

09/06/2025: Ci siamo davvero trovato bene, il personale si è dato da fare e la cucina era ottima.
Grazie al ragazzo che ha preso le ordinazioni con precisione anche se non era la sua mansione ( di solito è al bancone ) , e a tutto cibo ottimo, birra pure e anche i vegetariani vengono accontentati !!!
26/04/2025: Proprietario assolutamente scostumato senza alcuna capacità relazionale. Premetto che ho 53 anni e quando ho chiesto di poter utilizzare i servizi, mi ha chiesto se stavo consumando da loro e dopo che ha scoperto che ero di passaggio mi ha invitato ad andar via esclamando che il bagno non era pubblico. Per me inaccettabile solo per una questione di buon senso.
