The structure is dated but well maintained, excellent service and impressive dishes from starters to desserts.
Fair price.

01/04/2024: Restaurant on the seafront in Porto Potenza, we had dinner on Valentine's evening and although it was full, the dishes were very well prepared and the fish very well cooked. Excellent cold and hot appetizers! Friendly service. Average prices.
We will return in the summer to better appreciate the location.

We ate very good fish, delicious appetizers and slightly tough crostini in the bread. the second fish very tender and pulpy, well cooked. the soft vegetables, the only discreet note is the wine cellar, which could be a little improved and enriched

15/10/2023: Restaurant overlooking the seafront, owner with a lot of patience and faith coordinates waiters to be kept with strength....... having said that, restaurant that serves homemade and very good food. My impression, to try, I would like your opinion.

07/04/2024: We ate very well: very good cold appetizer and mussel stew (try the lentils with prawns!), really tasty little white seafood chitarrine, enough to make us eat, the very kind owner offered us a focaccia (they have recently started make pizza and wanted to give us a little taste). The waitress was very kind. The portions are generous and the prices are excellent. Genuine. We'll be back!
11/01/2024: I was there with my parents some time ago, the service is truly embarrassing, the customer is not pampered in the slightest by those who should do it if not out of vocation at least for the salary! Food: just to give an example, their interpretation of sardines in saor is limited to four fried anchovies with raw onion on top! The fish skewers looked like the ones I buy in the frozen food shop...
The thing that annoys me the most, however, is that the owner, when he responds to criticism, in embarrassing Italian, allows himself to turn against the customers instead of admitting the total inadequacy of the kitchen and of those who manage it, instead defining himself as almost a champion given that he seeks to run a business.
If he doesn't like the job he does or if he realizes that it is not his life's work, he can easily go and do something else and the restaurant world will be forever grateful to him!

Chalet Lo Scoglio

15/08/2023: Ho dapprima acquistato un Estathè alla pesca a prezzo normale e successivamente ne ho acquistato un altro. Nell'ultimo caso il proprietario ha alzato il prezzo di 50 centesimi senza dirmi nulla poiché pagante tramite bancomat (metodo di pagamento utilizzato in entrambe le occasioni). Fortunatamente ho ricevuto subito la notifica di pagamento e mi sono fatto restituire i 50 centesimi in contante.
Non sceglierò mai più questo locale nemmeno per un bicchiere d'acqua.
14/08/2023: L’esercizio si trova all’ingresso della spiaggia libera a nord ed è questa la sua grande fortuna: è il primo che si incontra scendendo a mare ed è il più comodo. Se così non fosse, credo sarebbe fallito da un pezzo.
La cordialità al bar non è di casa, ma nemmeno l’educazione: al “buongiorno” del cliente, la ragazza che c’è quest’anno non risponde mai in alcun modo, con un viso sempre inespressivo. Nota dolente di ogni anno, per quanto mi riguarda, è che lo scontrino mi tocca SEMPRE chiederlo, sennò non mi viene mai fatto. E questo è scorretto, anche nei confronti degli esercizi che puntualmente lo emettono senza mai doverlo chiedere. E basta passare allo chalet successivo affinché ciò avvenga. Vengo a PPP da più di 10 anni e purtroppo è sempre stato così. Vorrà dire che anche quest’anno farò qualche metro in più per premiare correttezza e gentilezza.
