03/09/2025: Hi, I'd like to recommend this trattoria, which we discovered by chance on our way back from Lake Fiastra. The outside doesn't look like much, but once inside, you'll be greeted by a very comfortable, seaside-style atmosphere. You'll be escorted to your table by a beautiful and kind blonde woman named Simona. And here's the best part: when you see the menu, you'll be surprised by the more than fair prices, and once you order your dishes, you'll have a second pleasant surprise: simple, delicious, and generous dishes. Well done, we'll be back.

A fantastic sensory experience from appetizer to dessert, a feast for discerning palates with a refined and, above all, meticulously curated menu. 11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).

Oysters are served as they should be. Excellent service in the dining room with professional advice on the right wine to pair with the food. Money well spent. I like it. 23/08/2025: A small, but welcoming and modern restaurant. The service was truly impeccable, thanks to the kindness and exquisiteness of the two waiters. The food was truly excellent, with generous portions, refined and well-prepared. The prices were slightly below average, which makes it one of the best restaurants in San Benedetto, in my opinion. I'm celiac, and I received exemplary attention, as well as a very good selection of menu items (there was a very small flaw, the lack of dessert options, or even the absence of dessert options, for celiacs, but I fully understand the difficulties). This is a top-notch restaurant, making it a regular stop every year. Keep up the good work!

12/08/2025: We often go there for lunch with colleagues when we're in the area, and I think we'll be back again. I think this should be enough to tell you that this is a well-established restaurant, with good food, professional service, and a fairly comfortable atmosphere.

05/08/2025: The quality of the fish is truly excellent, not to mention the great attention to gluten-free options. The location is a little out of the way, but I highly recommend it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, demonstrating great professionalism and dedication. I definitely recommend it!

04/07/2025: Unforgettable experience at MA.TO – Fish Food Evolution! We started with an amazing tuna tataki: perfectly cooked, intense but balanced flavors, truly an appetizer to remember. The first course — tuna tartare with lime and grated black olives — was a true masterpiece: fresh, original and with a surprising balance of flavors. The service is impeccable: courteous, fast and always attentive staff. The highest quality of products and an excellent quality-price ratio. My sincere compliments to all the staff. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone who loves well-made fish!

09/09/2025: Historic restaurant with super-fresh fish and traditional cuisine at reasonable prices. I don't understand the negative reviews. A lovely atmosphere and efficient staff. I recommend it to lovers of good food. A few words, a lot of dishes.

07/09/2025: We ordered three first courses (two spaghetti with clams and one spaghetti with seafood), a bottle of pecorino wine, one lemon sorbet, chocolate panna cotta, and two Jefferson bitters that never arrived. The portions were good, but the spaghetti with clams didn't have any parsley—perhaps a house custom. The sorbet was too thin, perhaps another house custom. The dining room was scorching hot; the air conditioning was off. When we asked the waitress, "Can I turn on the air conditioning?" she replied, "I don't know if I'm capable of turning it on," so it stayed off and we were scorching hot. The dining room was full of mosquitoes, but they told us they'd offer us lautan, but we politely declined... Total paid 75 euros for three. We won't be returning.

28/08/2025: Unfortunately it looks good but when it comes down to it, we weren't offered a tasting menu, then they bring you appetizers in a way that's not very clear and I'm not even talking about the first courses where first they ask you for a type of pasta, then since they make an industrial quantity for everyone and add fish, it's not good, we are and if you ask after an hour when the second courses arrive, you get the answer that the first courses and the others still have to finish, so in conclusion, we left before getting to the end, it would have been enough to say that they gave us an à la carte menu or even give us verbally options outside of the tasting menu!

25/08/2025: We were on Saturday 23 August, 4 of us plus my dog😁, many types of menus with various combinations at excellent prices 25 euros for a tasting of 3 very original starters, a first course, spaghetti with mussels and clams and finally a metre of fried food, wine, water, coffee and a truly excellent sailor's coffee, what can I say, everything was balanced in the right way, very kind and helpful staff

12/08/2025: Two of us went to this restaurant. It was the best restaurant we dined at in San Benedetto. We had two appetizers: sea bass with lime and monkfish tripe. A first course: spaghetti with clams. A second course: roast Adriatic fish. A side of grilled vegetables. Two desserts: semifreddo and panna cotta. Water and two glasses of Passerina pasta. We paid €88. Everything was delicious. The appetizers were exquisite and very unique. The spaghetti with clams were the best, among the best I've ever eaten. The spaghetti was al dente, the sauce was well-creamed and truly flavorful. I would have ordered another dish immediately. The grilled fish was also excellent and plentiful. And the homemade desserts are also worth mentioning. This is definitely a place not to be missed. Had we discovered it earlier, we would have returned every night, even if it were far from our hotel. Unfortunately, the only downside was a group of uncontrolled, unruly children running around the restaurant, disrupting the waiters' work and annoying all the customers, while their parents sat quietly chatting at the table, oblivious to anything. Never mind, the problem is never the children, but their rude parents.

08/08/2025: Randomly parked 10 meters from the chalet. We asked if they had room for three...even though everything was booked, they gave us a table (7:50 PM). Octopus and potatoes, spaghetti with clams, mixed fried fish, bottle of passerina, water. Total €66. Excellent service, tonnarelli with clams, TOP quality, you can't find them made this well anywhere else. Highly recommended. The menu has a few dishes, a sign of particular attention to the raw materials. Knowledgeable staff...they informed us that they had tonnarelli instead of spaghetti and informed us about the availability of today's catch. What more could you ask for? Well done guys, keep it up. Coffee on the house...just a small point, the passerina cost €17 (it was listed as €16 on the menu). Coffee not included...but the rating remains the same.

30/09/2025: Superb! The welcome and service were impeccable, the waiters were very honest and sincere in recommending dishes. Everything was fresh. SQUID INK SPAGHETTI is the recommended dish! And the BRODETTO is the BEST! Excellent tiramisu! Delicious dinner with a seafood flavor!
