10/12/2024: The location is a fairytale, the food very good, the concert creates a fantastic atmosphere. It's a shame that the barman badly insulted the entire table with (several) insistent, offensive and very unpleasant comments! In response to the clarifications, I copy and paste the text of the email sent in response: Good evening, I am writing to you regarding the review I wrote after dinner with you last Wednesday. After dinner (which, as I wrote in the review, was excellent) we went to the counter to drink a bitter. The barman made unpleasant comments such as "you came on the community bus" which, even if it were a simple joke, is in extremely bad taste. After this we were obviously annoyed and the barman continued with jokes and an arrogant attitude. I'm really sorry because I love the place. But this attitude heavily affected the outcome of the evening and therefore of my evaluation. I await any comparison. Good evening! Good evening I misunderstood everything, I'm sorry, the barman had been talking to Marialaura at the counter for a while, joking and laughing, then another girl from your table arrived. Her friends joked about the fact that they had the memory of a goldfish, even Alzheimer's (their words) because Marialaura couldn't remember the bartender's name. Hence the phrase from the van but no one was offended, only she who arrived later and didn't follow the conversation from the beginning. Just ask but that's all, the bartender never referred to her, not knowing her. His reaction was disproportionate and unjustified I'm sorry to prove you wrong, but I found out about the unpleasant comment while I was out on the terrace precisely because the girl who was at the counter with M left indignant at the bartender's statement. So much so that she came to make it up to us outside, also adding a comment about his education. Certain comments, especially from someone who works in contact with the public, are not only inappropriate, they are a symptom of extreme rudeness and little respect for certain individuals. However, I read that it is not the first negative review that talks about the education of the staff. And anyway, even if it was all a misunderstanding, given that not only I but also two others of us felt offended by this comment (even if it wasn't made in a bad way or with the intent to offend) All it took was simply an apology and not justifications. Good evening. We agree that Giacomo's intentions were not malicious, in your opinion he probably exaggerated and we are sorry for this, of course. But writing about offenses and insults is excessive, it seems like we enjoy treating people badly and this doesn't happen. As for the other reviews, I would only add that some customers are really difficult Best regards We also agree that given the misunderstanding the apologies could have been appreciated, if they had been made I would have also changed the review. Since you continue to keep the point, I think I will leave the review and probably (as I already did with the first email) I will also add all our correspondence below. In any case, I will return to your place to see if (maybe) the attitude can change. You must always give a second chance, despite everything😊
