14/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati in questo locale per un pranzo. Siamo stati accolti con grande simpatia e cordialità da uno dei titolari che essendo anche il cuoco ci ha illustrato il menù. Tutti piatti eccellenti e servizio attento ed atmosfera familiare. Ti senti come a casa di amici. Ci ritorneremo senz'altro!!! I ragazzi di Bologna ❤️💙

28/08/2024: WRONG!!!!!!!!! LITTLE CLARITY. A bit long review but I hope you read it all. I found out about this restaurant through Instagram. I was struck by the view and especially by the table in front of the window where you can see a beautiful panorama. I book with a WhatsApp message asking, for lunch, the table in front of the window (the only one and only the others were distributed around the room which in any case have a view...even a table is near the balcony). Perfect shame that when I get there they ask me if I knew how it worked. I imagined it like any other restaurant. No. If you sit in front of the panoramic window you must necessarily consume two dishes each. This was not specified to me during booking. Once there we accept the proposal and sit down. We were given a menu without prices saying that we could take what we wanted (referring to two dishes each) and the cost would be €60.00 per person. We ordered two appetizers and two first courses. The starters are really skimpy compared to the price, while the first course is more abundant. The appetizers ordered did not have a surcharge or certainly it was not written on the menu but when the bill came the cost increased. We took the dish of the day: spaghetti with lobster sauce. In this case we were not told that the dish of the day had another cost (higher obviously). Then we add a glass of wine and a bottle of water. Long story short, two of us paid €220.00. Scrolled from start to finish. Lack of clarity which deceives the customer. The quality of the food must be paid for and I agree with it, at the same time I demand clarity to allow me to decide whether it is worth it or not.

27/08/2024: So, my girlfriend and I were on holiday in the splendid Tropea and, wanting to eat in a beautiful place for the occasion, we chose this place following the photos seen on the internet. We booked the table overlooking the sea during the sunset to have an experience to remember, when we arrived on site they made us sit at the booked table and only after having sat down did we find out, thanks to the staff, that the chosen table had a separate menu , which required a minimum spend of 60 euros for 2 courses and 75 euros per person for 3, excluding side dishes. The news, being kids anyway, made us laugh a little, but now sitting at the table we preferred not to say anything and looked at the menu. The food however, of course, was delicious, fresh and very tasty. The setting was very fascinating, the sunset over the sanctuary was breathtaking, however the table was quite "narrow" without much possibility of moving, the bathroom was nothing special. The discreet service, little analysis of the dishes when they were served, staff anxiously staring at the customers and as I mentioned before the detail of the different menu which we were not aware of until we sat down (without the possibility of choosing and in any case obviously finding ourselves in an embarrassing situation). In total for 2 starters, 2 second courses, 1 side dish and a bottle of water we spent 150 euros. We still spent a beautiful evening with a wonderful view, but we would have preferred to know the various details regarding the menu first, thus being free to choose.

25/08/2024: Fileja with 'nduja, pecorino and spectacular onion chips, for the second course tuna with onion very good, I would suggest cutting the onion into strips instead of putting it in whole slices. Price normal.

24/08/2024: Terrible place with tables one on top of the other and no toilets. If you need to use the bathroom they send you to a room next door. Equally bad service with exorbitant waiting times, so much so that you have to cancel the order of the second courses. The food is acceptable, but paying €92 for a small sample of onion, two first courses, a beer and a bottle of water seems a little exaggerated to me, also because the food was nothing exceptional. Strongly not recommended.

20/08/2024: The restaurant is nothing special! The owner should be ashamed that the "service" of bringing food to the table is 2.5 euros per person - why is it generally charged? The waiters are full of themselves and take the plate in front of the guest as soon as he puts the last bite in his mouth, which is very unprofessional and creates the impression that the guest has to leave The pasta with n'duja is so hot that you can't even eat it normally, and the portions are too small for the price they offer. I'm sure there are better restaurants, but paying 90 euros for 1.5 L of domestic wine and three pastas is absurd.

31/07/2024: Posto molto carino, si mangia decisamente bene ed i proprietari sono stati disponibili e gentilissimi: ci hanno fatto il favore di aprire il locale in orario di chiusura dato che eravamo arrivati in ritardo a Tropea!

20/10/2023: Ci siamo trovati in questo ristorante fortemente consigliato dalla struttura ricettiva che ci ospitava. Buona parte del carattere basso della recensione è dovuta al fatto che durante la cena ci siamo accorti che la ragazza bionda che serviva ai tavoli di tanto in tanto si fermava ad accarezzare un cane immagino di amici al bordo del ristorante, nulla contro i cani che amiamo, ma non va bene se dopo aver accarezzato il cane ci porti i piatti a tavola senza neanche andare a lavare le mani. Per il resto non ho abbassato il punteggio ad 1 dato che durante l’ordinazione la stessa ha avuto l’accortezza di mutare l’assortimento del mio antipasto misto per via di una mia intolleranza. Per quanto riguarda i piatti: nella media l’antipasto e la grigliata con differenti tipologie di congelato, uno molto buono è uno un po’ scadente, il primo di terra con le cipolle obiettivamente basico, non valorizzava affatto gli ingredienti utilizzati. Conto abbastanza salato per un antipasto misto una grigliata di pesce (tutto standard) e un primo di pasta al pomodoro con un quarto di cipolla sopra, 2 bicchieri di vino al calice 1 acqua e 1 jefferson 80€, ma credetemi il conto è davvero l’ultima cosa, perché per delle buone portate ci sta anche, ma non per quello che abbiamo mangiato.

05/10/2023: Il miglio ristorante di Tropea! Si trova nel centro storico. Servizio davvero impeccabile. Il personale è molto attento e professionale. Cibo fresco e di altissima qualità, io e la mia ragazza abbiamo mangiato lì per ben tre sere di fila e abbiamo provato parecchi piatti uno più buono dell' altro! Ancora tantissimi complimenti allo Chef per averci deliziato della sua arte, a Karin per la sua educazione, professionalità e genitilezza! Consigliatissimo in tutto e per tutto Noi ci torneremo sicuramente!❤️

30/08/2024: Slice of tuna which was a mixture of a chicken breast and a worn sponge of the kind used for washing dishes, raw pasta (PS. I'm someone who eats it al dente). Then the entrees... as they call them if they can save them, a tiny taste thrown there on the plate....bah.... Terrible

30/08/2024: The little square in which it is located is nice.. but only that.... Octopus salad which was actually potatoes and onion... with traces of octopus. Typical pasta with seafood, which in reality were 4 shells that happened by chance, but typical pasta with decent Calabrian seasoning... Thin and dry tuna steak, while the swordfish was edible thanks to the abundant seasoning. In the end they offered us two bitters... At least that's worth appreciating. There was a very tense climate among the waiters, in fact in the end they even went to hell and the customers heard everything.

28/08/2024: We had dinner a few nights ago, a very touristy place, prices in line with other places in Tropea but not quality dishes. We asked for a grilled amberjack, it arrived full of salty seasonings and full of oil. The rest of the dishes were nothing special.

27/08/2024: Very bad experience. Bland and tasteless clam pasta. Anchovy slicing that is not well cared for as a dish. Spicy oil not present in the restaurant… I do not recommend.
