As for friendliness and service, if I could, I would give 0 stars, not 1.
The staff and the one who I presume is the owner of the place, "restaurant" as he insisted on calling it, do not know at all what hospitality or good manners are.
A group of friends and I, after the hammam, at 7.30pm, wanted to try some appetizers and drink some hot tea. We approach the counter, a place that is still empty because it has just opened, and ask if it is possible to have some appetizers and drinks, to have an "aperitif". The service staff, after a few (not too polite) comments about the fact that the place is very full on Saturdays, lets us sit, telling us that the table is free until 9pm.
After a few minutes the owner comes to take our order and comments that we cannot occupy a table by taking only €20 worth of appetizers, after he has canceled a table for us, something that no one has told us about and as customers not ours responsibility. And insisting that an aperitif should be had at the bar and not in a restaurant, when our intention had been clear even before taking a seat.
We entered without any pretense and would have calmly accepted that the place was full or it was not possible to serve us, in an honest and courteous communication between manager and customer.
Instead, being accused of losing a table when the choice was purely the discretion of the staff is purely rude and lacking in the hospitality that a restaurant should have. This place should perhaps revise their wording to "food merchants" since all they seem to be aiming for is financial return.
Very bad.

17/01/2025: We ate the pizza and were satisfied 😊 We particularly liked the vegetarian one, with thinly sliced vegetables, a little different than usual! The dough is also good and digestible. Friendly and fast service 😊

21/12/2024: I had an absolutely disastrous experience at this restaurant three weeks ago. I clearly informed the staff about my severe allergy to lettuce and tomatoes, specifying that I absolutely did not want these ingredients in my meal. I also specifically requested sambusas of meat and hot food to avoid any risk to my health. Not only did they completely ignore my needs, but they handled the order in an absolutely unacceptable manner.
Instead of the hot food I had requested, I was served a cold dish, which seemed to come straight from the refrigerator, containing lettuce and tomatoes—exactly what I had asked to avoid. Furthermore, all the sambusas were filled with vegetables, without a single sambusa with meat, despite my specific request.
As soon as I opened the contents, I was greeted by a nauseating and unpleasant odor, which suggested that the food had gone bad. The strong odor was a clear sign that the food had not been properly stored and may have been contaminated. This forced me to throw it away immediately so as not to risk my health.
As someone with serious health issues, including severe allergies, I strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone—especially those who are vulnerable due to age or other medical conditions. The total lack of attention to food safety is alarming. I will never return and I urge everyone to think carefully before putting their health at risk.
