The cold cuts were top-quality, including a nice, soft salami cut a bit thickly.
The classic and unusual appetizers, like the pumpkin meatballs, were all very good.
The cassoeula, prepared with all the ingredients, was fabulous.
It was, of course, accompanied by a soft polenta.
All the cakes are worth trying.
The staff were very friendly.

13/09/2025: I had this experience a few months ago, and was completely satisfied with the excellent quality of the meat and the intense, rich flavor of the picanha, which was exceptionally tender. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service excellent.
19/08/2025: This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. On our way back from Liguria, we decided to take a quick detour on our way home and stop here.
If you like meat, good meat, you absolutely must stop by.
A casual and quiet place.
We opted for an appetizer of mixed cold cuts and delicious, hot, and crispy fried gnocco.
The main course—or rather, the main course—arrived later.
A 7.50g Florentine steak from Scottona beef that was out of this world, flavorful and cooked perfectly, then another 8.50g American Angus steak that almost moved us to tears with how tender and juicy it was.
I can't remember ever eating such good, juicy meat. Grilled over charcoal, it was truly perfect.
My heartfelt compliments to everyone; the staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Not everyone is good at it.
It's a shame you're more than two hours from my house; otherwise, I'd be a regular!
The prices are more than reasonable for the excellent quality of the meat.
I'll be back with my family someday.

16/11/2025: A simple and well-maintained location. The staff were always very courteous and professional. They accompanied us throughout the dinner, making us feel at ease. It was as if we were regulars, even though it was our first visit. The real strength is the raw materials! The meat is truly delicious and expertly prepared. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent cut of meat.

25/10/2025: I went to eat there a couple of years ago, it was like a whole other planet! The welcome was like a prison, the order was confusing, and the plates were piping hot... I don't know why!!! Maybe they used them as cooking lids!!! I won't be back unless something changes!!!!! The price might even be fair, but neither the first nor the second course had any semblance of taste!!!!! Disappointed beyond my expectations, I'd have preferred a kebab (and I don't like it)!!!!!!!! I see the restaurant's lack of politeness in its responses, so they can criticize all they want, it doesn't matter to me. Bottom line: the food is terrible!!!!!
Answer: if I'm a nerd, you can't tell a hot dish from a piping hot one! But it was already clear from your replies to other reviews that you have zero sensitivity!!! Treat customers the same way you respond to reviews: rudely and indifferently!!!! Too bad, because the food used to be great and the owner was polite and kind, it's clear the management has changed!!!!
21/09/2025: Enchanting location with the stunning village of Villanova... beautiful inn run by two elderly gentlemen who make typical Ligurian dishes with excellent results... generous portions and fair prices... will definitely return.

30/08/2025: The area is infested with wasps and it's impossible to eat with small children, but they serve food anyway. €25 wasted.
01/08/2025: Excellent dining options nestled in a huge park. Excellent food variety and good quality. Fast, good service. The ambiance could be improved a bit.

20/04/2025: Abbiamo mangiato il pranzo di Pasqua ed è stato tutto squisito, dai antipasti al dolce molto delizioso. Locale di un alto livello, consigliatissimo!
29/03/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio e l accoglienza, disponibilità e il super buon cibo hanno contribuito a rendere questa giornata meravigliosa. Grazie ad Erika, ottima padrona di casa e a tutto il suo gentilissimo staff!
Ps: ottimo ristorante per gustare prelibatezze … dolci inclusi 🤩🤩🤩
