15/08/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo da Giacomo nella bella piazza di Pizzighettone è un a conferma. L'insalata di gallina è davvero straordinaria così come la competenza enologica del proprietario, celebre sommelier, e la amichevole accoglienza. I risotti sono sempre superlativi. Cucina tradizionale ma rivisitata con rispetto, ricca di maniacale attenzione alle materie prime, attenzione ai dettagli, piatti sempre buoni. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Viene voglia di tornarci.

23/09/2024: Solita cena tra ex colleghi seppur orfani, questa volta dell'amico Mario causa piccolo problema.
Siamo ritornati dopo circa 2 anni a cascina Valentino e anche questa volta ci siamo trovati molto bene.
Ambiente molto gradevole, servizio gentile ed efficiente, menù degustazione eccellente e perfetto nelle quantità, conto assolutamente adeguato a quanto offerto, apprezzabile che non si paghi il coperto.
Un piccolo particolare per valutare il servizio: chiesto se si poteva avere menù e non avendolo pronto la ragazza che ci serviva lo ha scritto appositamente a mano, grazie.

I went for lunch with my husband, they offered us the tasting menu illustrating the dishes without saying the cost of either the food or the glass of wine, they served starters which were scant (two slices of mortadella, 2 of salami, 2 small pieces of omelette and 2 small pieces of cheese, half a mozzarella each and tomatoes) and nothing of which the flavor and quality of the first totally tasteless mushroom risotto do not bring the grated cheese to the table, ditto for the spaghetti with butter and leek. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

13/12/2024: Dopo aver pranzato un paio di volte con dei collaboratori - a menù fisso pranzo di lavoro - in questo ristornate, non vedevo l'ora di provarlo per cena. Risultato: assolutamente strepitoso. Pietanze divine, servizio gentile, educato e veloce, qualità altissima e preparazioni oneste e genuine. Avrei preferito porzioni un pochino più generose, ma è un dettaglio o forse io avevo particolarmente fame. Prezzo onestissimo e location molto carina; a vista fiume Adda, torrione e basilica.

17/11/2024: We happened by chance at the Torrone di Cremona festival, due to a booking error we looked for an alternative which was an excellent surprise!!! We were welcomed despite the almost "indecent" time (two o'clock 😬) but we received an indescribable welcome from both the owner and the staff, very kind!!! We ate "shamefully well" from the cooked honey bacon, to the famous fasulin de l'öc cun le cudeghe, to the cotechino with mustard and the balsamic duck breast, we couldn't get dessert because we were too full!
We were the last ones left in the restaurant but they insisted that we also have dessert... truly an excellent surprise that we recommend to anyone who wants to eat traditional dishes made really well like by grandmother and with the welcome and warmth of home!!!

16/11/2024: Sono stata qualche giorno fa perché ero curiosissima di provare le loro pizze e ne sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta! La prima cosa si nota è sicuramente la leggerezza dell’impasto che la rende molto digeribile! Inoltre ho trovato un’ altissima delle materie prime utilizzate, il che va a dare un tocco in più alle pizze

16/05/2024: I gave one star otherwise I couldn't write, the gentleman is really RUDE, we had called to go for a drink in this bar, when a friend of ours arrived he kindly asked if we could stay inside he was very annoyed and let us sit inside but it wasn't ended here.
My boyfriend politely asked what beer he could drink and he said "yes but I recommend it be quick because it's Sunday"
I was choosing the beer I was looking at what I could get and he asked me: "do you need a hand?" I kindly replied "no thank you very much, very kind, I'll choose now". After a little while he was very annoyed and started to get angry telling me that he is more experienced. about me that I know nothing etc and that he could have told me what I could take we ended up arguing face to face and yes I called him a "rude bald guy" because that's what he deserves never seen so much arrogance I wonder how he can still be open .
PS: People were sitting outside and no one was in a rush. 😊 (Do some soul-searching)
