14/05/2026: So tasty wow. Possibly the most tasty thing ever.

11/05/2026: We were really disappointed by our experience here. From the moment we arrived the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We were seated at a table right by the door even though there were clearly other better tables available during our entire visit including when we left. It honestly felt like we were placed there so the table could be turned over quickly rather than being treated like valued customers. The service also felt noticeably different compared to the local diners around us. Staff seemed much warmer and more attentive with other tables, while we felt rushed and largely ignored. Our starter plates were left sitting on the table for such a long time and one of the waiters even asked whether we still wanted to order mains which immediately gave us the impression they wanted us gone as quickly as possible. We had travelled from the other side of town specifically to eat here, so of course we said yes. At several points we also noticed staff looking over and talking about us in Italian which made the whole experience uncomfortable even if we couldn’t understand exactly what was being said. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it either. The falafel was extremely dry, the chicken shawarma was overcooked, and overall the meal was fairly average at best. We also specifically mentioned that only one person would be drinking wine yet we were still brought a large decanter which felt unnecessary and a bit pushy. By the end of the meal we felt so uncomfortable and unsettled that we didn’t even finish our food or drinks and decided to leave early. Maybe it was/wasn’t intentional but as Indian tourists we left feeling genuinely unwelcome and with the impression that we were not treated the same as other customers. If you are a tourist and not Italian unfortunately we would not suggest visiting as we certainly did not feel welcome. Check out the owner responses to some of the reviews already posted here. 02/05/2026: Fantastic service and the food really hit the spot. The reception was friendly as soon as we got in. The food is self service and the chefs were happy to make everything to your custom order. Please dont be put off by the decor - and unfortunately bathrooms had to be desired, but go there for great halal food and friendly service.

30/03/2026: The set menu offers generous portions—you probably won't be able to finish it all. The quality of the dishes is good (the scampi risotto is excellent), and the fresh fish is tastier than the meat menu; overall, it's improved compared to two years ago. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. Recommended.
