22/06/2025: Very good atmosphere, good food, service? There is a lot to say.. for example between one aperitif and another they don't even offer you a peanut/chip.. to save money (I don't know).

14/07/2025: Beautiful place surrounded by nature, rustic setting, excellent menu. There are both simple dishes featuring lake fish and a few dishes featuring sea fish, but there are also slightly more unique options, such as bruschetta with creamed whitefish, low-fat Philadelphia yogurt, and whitefish fillet, and whitefish parmigiana. I really enjoyed the nettle gnocchi with creamed scampi and the fried perch fillet. I recommend booking. I highly recommend it for both the location and the food, and most importantly, there are no surprises on the bill.

14/07/2025: I had to delete my previous 4-star review, which I wrote when the restaurant was run by Maria's mother, who is certainly more professional than Maria. I'm a semi-regular customer, having a small house near the restaurant in question, where I occasionally went for lunch or dinner. The location is lovely, surrounded by nature and, for those who appreciate it, with ducks and otters wandering among the outdoor tables. Everything was fine until last night. In short, the story: I had made a reservation for lunch yesterday for four people at 1:00 PM. On Friday afternoon, I called to cancel the appointment and rebook for the same evening, but for two people. Last night, the two of us showed up at the agreed-upon time and were rudely attacked by the owner Maria, who swore, yelled, and cursed in a truly unprofessional manner in front of everyone else at the table, because we hadn't shown up for lunch and she had kept the table free. After our explanations, saying that we had notified the previous afternoon of the cancellation, we realized that unfortunately we had made a mistake, calling another restaurant with the same name, Peppe il Pescatore. OK. We made a mistake. But in good faith, since we had calmly gone to dinner at her place that evening. Now, I understand that the table was taken empty... but I don't believe that after half an hour of not seeing anyone arrive, she kept it free until the evening.... But her lack of tact in yelling at us in anger, and swearing at us in front of everyone, us who are (were) more or less regular customers and even kicking us out for dinner, always swearing... (the tables were free), really brings her down to a low level.... an ignoramus like she has always been... (We came willingly when mom was there).... Truly a whole different world when mom was in charge. Furthermore, as another customer writes below in another review... the food is poor and unappetizing, the prices are high... only the location is a saving grace. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, I have a vacation home there... and I rotate to all of them... Last night we went to Gigetto's on the lake, definitely cleaner, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Above all, kindness and professionalism. Goodbye Peppe the fisherman, and for Maria: "Grow up and adapt... because you really are a terrible place... you're not even remotely like your mother in management." Terrible, dirty establishment, and they keep a dog on a chain in a small enclosure.
