25/05/2025: We had already been to this restaurant several times, always finding excellent food on the lake shore, with attentive and very kind staff. Today, since we had not booked in advance, they made us sit outside in the bar area and warned that we could only take a few dishes, since the restaurant was full. We had mixed bruschetta and fried lake fish for two, all good, even if in the fried fish, to my taste, there were too many lattarini. The negative point, however, came when it came to the bill: 69 euros for two plates of bruschetta, two fried fish, half a liter of house wine and two coffees seemed a bit too much.

Abbiamo trovato questo posto un po’ per caso ed è stata una sorpresa.
La posizione incantevole, il menù per noi curioso perché non avevamo mai mangiato pesce di lago ci ha lasciati piacevolmente stupiti.
Dagli antipasti al primo ogni boccone era un’esplosione di sapori.
Buono anche il vino locale che ci hanno consigliato.
Il valore aggiunto lo danno però il papà pescatore la mamma cuoca e il figlio in sala, come cenare a casa di amici. Bravissimo anche il cameriere Angelo, dalla Galizia, che mentre descriveva i piatti faceva venir voglia di mangiare tutto.
Devo dire il conto finale contenuto.

Definirei nel complesso esperienza molto positiva.
Cibo buonissimo.
Abbiamo mangiato il pesce, era fresco e cucinato egregiamente.
Complimenti anche al ragazzo che molto professionalmente ci ha servito,
molto preparato e gentilissimo.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied. We tried two fish starters (good but not unforgettable), a first course (shrimp dumplings - a dish that was certainly abundant but not very tasty) and a second course (a mixed fry, which did not satisfy us - not very crunchy and a little chewy).
We're sorry, because we had high expectations. Nothing to say about the service, which was kind and helpful, and about the bill, which was adequate for how much we ate.

15/05/2025: I had dinner here on the lake shore, it makes me select rooms but 5 stars for the food based on very fresh fish, ok service and enchanting location. Recommended.
11/05/2025: Historic restaurant, recently renovated in Marta, on Lake Bolsena. Location overlooking the lake furnished with class. Suitable for any type of occasion, perfect both for Sunday family lunches and for romantic dinners as a couple. Excellent food and well-stocked wine cellar. Professional and trained dining room staff. A special mention for Roberta, the owner, who receives guests with spontaneous courtesy and knows how to recommend excellent combinations of dishes and wines. A guarantee. If you pass through this enchanting village in Tuscia, it is worth a visit. I recommend booking in advance, especially in summer, when you can eat at the tables on the lawn right in front of the lake. The restaurant is also a hotel, but I have never used the service as I live nearby, although I have received excellent reviews from those who have stayed there, especially for the availability of the staff and the property. Among the dishes I recommend all the first courses, the tasting of hot and cold fish starters, the fried fish, the always fresh baked or grilled fish and the Whitefish fillet in vine leaves. The eel and all the lake fish dishes are absolutely worth trying.

Salotto 44 - Your daily moment

30/03/2025: We were in Marta for a month and therefore regularly went to Salotto to drink coffee and relax.
We really enjoyed the coffee. They even have soy milk for those who like it! The sweet pastries are delicious and the cocktails are also really tasty for the fair prices.
We'll definitely be back!

25/05/2025: Simple, informal, clean and lovingly maintained environment just steps from the marina.
The pizza was very good, not to mention the hot fried puff pastry that they offered us as soon as we arrived. The sliced steak was excellent and tender.
Very kind staff and exquisite owner.

10/03/2025: I was in this restaurant on 03/09/25 for dinner with a friend. Easy to find parking. Tables well spaced from each other, clean and quiet environment. Clean bathroom with basic toilet facilities. The service was quite fast and helpful, also facilitated by the small turnout of customers that evening. I ordered 2 supplì which I found quite good. To drink, we shared 2 bottles of still water with my friend. As a side dish I had a tomato salad. For my second course I ordered a beef steak with rocket and parmesan, but I was disappointed by the quality of the meat, which was too stringy. Additionally, the excessive amount of arugula and parmesan made it difficult to appreciate the flavor of the meat. I would suggest reviewing the portions of the toppings and selecting a higher quality meat. I found the price of the bill quite high for the dining experience I had. For having ordered a second course with a side salad and two supplí with two bottles of water I found the price of the bill quite high (€28.00). The meat was of poor quality and the condiments were too abundant, unbalancing the dish. Based on these factors, I believe that the value for money was not adequate.
