25/02/2026: We found ourselves at this trattoria on the way to Castel Savoia. We were immediately welcomed by two young, kind, and knowledgeable people: Tommaso and Sonia.
Their enthusiasm, passion for their work, and the refinement of their dishes—though simple—express a special touch—are evident.
I had the maltagliati with wild boar ragù, while my companion had a generous rib-eye steak with a side of baked potatoes, all accompanied by a lovely glass of red wine recommended by Tommaso.
To top it all off, we also had an apple tarte tatin and a Piedmontese bonet, both garnished with delicious whipped cream, suggested and made by Sonia, which made the whole experience even better.
If we can give you an unsolicited piece of advice: absolutely try the cream with the desserts: it's truly exquisite!
Everything else is truly worth it; definitely a place to return to.
Well done, well done, go visit them!

23/02/2026: Campsites in a good location for both the town and immigrants. Free municipal shuttle service for getting around. They also have a shuttle service within the campground, but for a fee.
Well-maintained and clean restrooms.
Nearby, a restaurant, bar, and well-stocked grocery store with reasonable prices.
Friendly staff.
An experience to repeat in spring and summer.
21/02/2026: We stayed at this campsite from February 8th to 14th with our camper and I have to say we had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic: far from traffic and extremely quiet, the common areas are spotless, the bathrooms always smell of bleach, and it's a 15-minute walk from the town, which is very easy to reach and where you'll find everything you need. But the real highlight is Andrea (the owner) and all the staff, who are very hospitable and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back as soon as we can! And last but not least: excellent value for money!

01/02/2026: A beautifully designed restaurant in Gressoney. However, the dining room manager is sometimes rude when making reservations and struggles to politely enforce shifts, although she is very nice and courteous during service. Furthermore, it was very unpleasant to hear the chef in the kitchen yelling at the dining room staff during dinner; it was both very unprofessional and unpleasant/embarrassing.
19/01/2026: A very pleasant surprise.
The kitchen starts from Alpine and Italian traditions and updates them with care, using well selected local ingredients—you can tell from the first to the last bite.
I don’t drink wine, but the wine list is varied and complete. I went for a locally brewed beer: excellent, and a perfect match for the food.
The ambience is classic mountain style: warm, curated, and quiet the right place to enjoy the evening without noise.
Staff are welcoming and never pushy.
Prices are fair for the quality offered: you pay for substance, not appearances.
I honestly struggle to understand the negative reviews—my experience was impeccable.
Strongly recommended.

The restaurant is rustic and very simple. A place of yesteryear. Authentic food with an authentic flavor.
Highly recommended for a quiet dinner with traditional dishes.
10/11/2025: Small restaurant located on the main road leading to Gressoney la Trinité. Ample parking, simple menu with local specialties. I had an excellent braised beef with polenta concia. Fair price. Friendly and fast staff.

20/07/2025: Service catastrophique, un petit monsieur archi malpoli qui souhaitait absolument nous faire comprendre que nous n'étions pas les bienvenus.
Comme nous avions bien été reçu la première fois, nous sommes restés et avons mangé mais nous aurions dû fuir. Cuisine très correcte et bon rapport qualité prix. Service décevant, nous ne vous disons pas merci.
31/05/2025: Ordiniamo polenta e funghi porcini. Ci aspettiamo ci venga servito un piatto di polenta con dei funghi cotti nel loro sughetto, invece riceviamo una polenta precotta su cui è stata versata sopra una cucchiaiata di funghi sott'olio di infima qualità (olio denso e trasparente tipo lubrificante e funghi insipidi).
Un piatto completamente slegato che nulla ha a che vedere con la ricetta di polenta e funghi.
Vino sfuso da evitare.
Peccato perché il locale è bello, caratteristico e poco rumoroso.

16/02/2025: Ho ordinato 2 filetti al pepe verde al sangue. Sono arrivati 2 filetti microscopici stracotti. Scelte 2 bottiglie alla carta nessuna presente. Prezzi alti per qualità
03/02/2025: Ricordavo un locale gradevole e giusto. Oggi ho trovato un ristorante con scarsissima attenzione al cliente, e prezzi fuori dalle orbite per dei piatti del tutto normali. Assolutamente da evitare.

25/08/2024: Sono stata a pranzo e oltre alla ottima qualità/prezzo, ho apprezzato tantissimo l'aiuto e la gentilezza per l'assistenza per un problema di salute. Senza il loro aiuto non sarei riuscita tornare a valle. È davvero raro trovare tanta gentilezza.

27/02/2025: Locale vista lago con cucina tipica Valdostana. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, servizio molto rapido e ambiente accogliente.
Unico punto da segnalare riguarda il personale di sala: alcuni membri dello staff non sono stati accoglienti e cordiali nei confronti dei clienti durante il servizio, compresi noi che siamo stati “cacciati” dal locale perché entrati 10 minuti prima dell’ora della prenotazione.
16/02/2025: Locale alla buona, cibi nella media con qualche picco (guancia brasata) , prezzo giusto.
Location esterna con vista sul lago , ed in inverno vicinissimo alle piste da sci di fondo

25/03/2025: Ristorante che si presenta molto ricco di dettagli estetici sia in sala sia nella presentazione dei piatti. Ottimi antipasti e secondi, primi da rivedere: i formati di pasta sono accurati e ben fatti ma il condimento è insufficiente e non valorizza i piatti che rischiano di lasciare in bocca un insipido sapore deludente, nonostante gli edibili fiorellini decorativi. Prezzi sopra la media del luogo.
16/02/2025: Siamo stati x una cena un sabato con 2 bambini; periodo della stagione molto affollato, ma la titolare è stata davvero gentile nel riservarci un tavolo e farci iniziare la cena quanto prima.
Piatti ben curati e cibo di qualità (formaggi con cipolle caramellate, insalatina di cavolo con nocciole squisita e gnocchi patate e barbabietola particolari).
Servizio molto cortese e prezzo giusto (non abbiamo però bevuto vini).
Da tenere in conto x prossime volte 👌🏼😉
