Genuine products, but: -there were already two open bottles of water on the table and we only used one but at the time of the bill we paid for both because they were present on a "receipt" already printed previously. - speck and radicchio pasta (from the menu of the day) not very tasty, not to mention plain. Literally Barilla penne with a drizzle of oil and a bit of seasoning for the sum of around €13. I assume the owner came by to ask us if we wanted anything else and as soon as we said no she rolled her eyes. TIP: if you made slightly smaller portions, customers would perhaps also take a sweet. There is a sign at the cash desk (as shown in the photo). Since I pay you in cash a discount would be appropriate otherwise avoid... So €40 for two for a plate of plain pasta and gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffle (you couldn't smell it in the slightest), two waters (one of which wasn't even opened) and service at €2.50 per person. The gardener offered was appreciated

01/06/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A genuine and satisfying experience between authentic flavors and breathtaking views During a weekend on a motorbike between Avio, Ferrara di Monte Baldo and Malcesine, we decided to stop for dinner at the Rifugio Monte Baldo, attracted by its panoramic position and the offer of a tasting menu for €22. Even though we were not guests of the accommodation, the welcome was warm and familiar, as if they had known us for a long time. The refuge overlooks one of the most suggestive views of Monte Baldo, and just climbing up there at sunset is an experience worth the trip. But it is at the table that the Rifugio really manages to leave its mark. The tasting menu was a very pleasant surprise: balanced, abundant, and with attention to flavors without being heavy or excessive. All the dishes had that authentic taste of home-made mountain cuisine, with local raw materials and traditional recipes. The service was kind, smiling and punctual, while maintaining that informal tone typical of refuges, which makes you feel at home. The quality-price ratio is also truly remarkable: with 22 euros per person you eat abundantly, without sacrificing quality. In conclusion, we highly recommend stopping for dinner here if you are in the area, especially after a day in the open air or on a motorbike among the hairpin bends of Baldo. It is the ideal place to savor the mountain on a plate, among silence, stars and the scent of wood.

23/02/2025: Ci sono stato a pranzo una domenica di inverno. Immagino che in estate si mangi fuori e sarà sicuramente meglio che l’interno. Cameriere gentilissimo e si mangia veramente bene a prezzi ragionevoli. Ci torno alla prima occasione. Quattro stelle che possono diventare 5 se risolvono il ‘problema’ delle ragnatele agli angoli dei muri…basta poco quindi. Dai, fate questo piccolo sforzo !!! Bravi comunque .

16/04/2025: The pizza isn't bad; the problem is that we had to wait an hour to eat because they can't manage the takeaway at the same time for the room. Very poorly maintained and freezing bathroom, not even hot water to wash your hands. Service a little lacking.
