07/01/2026: I've only been there once, a few years ago, but the experience was truly memorable, and I wanted to leave a mark on it. From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views.
The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile.
In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this yogurt shop for years, but unfortunately, I have to say that tonight's experience was very disappointing.
It was really hot inside, and while sitting near the window, I simply moved the curtain slightly to get some air. The owner, instead of understanding the situation, spoke to me rudely and impolitely, telling me not to touch it because it "would break."
I honestly find it absurd that a customer should feel reprimanded for such a trivial gesture, especially when they report a real discomfort like the heat. No attention or kind words, just rudeness.
I'm very sorry to write this as a loyal customer, but with this attitude, the place loses much of its value.
I will never return.
P.S.: A smile is cheap... and the customers who bring you money would appreciate it much more.

22/02/2026: Among friends, curious about this pizzeria since it has a wood-fired oven, we ordered pizzas, but unfortunately we were disappointed. It's thin, the crust is hard and hard to chew, and it's very heavy. It's probably due to the dough or the cooking process, which makes it hard to digest and gives you stomach aches! I hope it improves!
Good service, quite friendly, traditional atmosphere!

03/01/2026: The food quality was very poor, but we ate until we found a hair in our food. Not to mention the overall ambiance, which was quite dirty. Unfortunately, there were only a few restaurants open.
24/11/2025: I discovered the restaurant during a photo shoot at the Monticchio Lakes. Tasty appetizers, well-prepared first courses, and excellent second courses of tender meat. The house red wine is good. The staff is very polite and the owner is friendly. Reasonable prices. As for me, I'll repeat the experience if I'm in the area.

15/01/2026: It's like, "Either you eat this soup or you jump into the lake." We had lunch on our way back from Christmas vacation, passing by these wonderful lakes, and there was only one first course available—basically, pasta with tomato sauce. Something like this has never happened before. The place is beautiful and comfortable, warm, with the stove on, etc. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing, and there were very few people around. The service was excellent, but come on, at least have a couple of choices! The fries were very expensive, we spent a fortune, and the food was street food, worth it just for the romantic setting.

12/07/2025: Taverna sì ma come davvero dovrebbe essere, alla mano, trattati come a casa e piatti abbandonati! Tutto buonissimo e di grande semplicità. Pochi tavoli e menu appropriato. Grazie anche per aver coccolato in nostro principino
16/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in coppia in posizione prossima al nostro hotel, in una sala accogliente e con camerieri gentili e professionali. Siamo stati molto soddisfatti dei piatti caratteristici (in particolare il "trittico") cucinati in modo gustoso e innaffiati dal loro buon vino locale. Inoltre il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo.

01/04/2025: Location bella con personale molto gentile e al cliente, abbiamo preso antipasti e pizze concluso con un bel dolce, tutto buono, posso dire che le pizze bianche rispetto a quelle rosse erano da cuocere un po' di più ma tutto sommato andava bene lo stesso, complimenti al titolare e il suo staff, lo consiglio vivamente!

14/03/2025: Un posto carino, accogliente molto grande...del mio colore preferito tendente al lilla. Siamo stati come a casa. Tranquilli e ben serviti. Ma un plauso allo chef per le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini ( fatte in casa)... Semplicemente squisite. Abbiamo pagato davvero il giusto. Grazie

03/06/2025: Posto carino, accogliente e cibo buono, peccato che abbiamo aspettato un' ora dall'ordine fatto per tre piatti di pasta, avendo anche una bambina piccola che aveva fame,senza aver riguardo almeno per lei, abbiamo sollecitato piu volte.. abbiamo capito da soli che il problema era che non avendo preso l'antipasto, in cucina facevano uscire prima gli antipasti per tutti gli altri e poi la pasta, sarebbe stato piu corretto avercelo detto prima.
