Il Castello
Capestrano
22/08/2024: Nice place located in front of the castle, so nice environment. Average food, nothing exceptional (we had the saffron ravioli, the gnocchi with meat sauce and the flambéed prawns). Nice and kind staff.

Caffè Gelateria 77
Capestrano
16/06/2024: Gelateria 77 is a delightful oasis in the piazza overlooking the castle. This gem of a spot offers much more than just its name suggests. The coffee here is great, making it the ideal pick-me-up whether you're starting your day or taking a midday break. Their cornettos are perfect companion to your morning coffee.
The friendly and attentive staff go out of their way ensuring you feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Staying open late for those who want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere under the stars. It's a fantastic place to unwind, mingle with the locals, and soak in the vibrant energy of the piazza.
And let's not forget the gelato! In the summer months, Gelateria 77 is the go-to spot for delicious, refreshing gelato. With a wide variety of flavors. JP & Dana (Capestrano)
24/05/2024: My favourite "café in town"... just sitting at the wonderful market-place of Capestrano and having a cappucino, a pistacchio-gelato or a crodino it' just perfect... la dolce Vita 🥰

Terra di Solina
Capestrano
31/08/2024: We ate in the restaurant of this farmhouse for dinner and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised! It is a gourmet restaurant where first and foremost you can savor the quality of the raw materials and the mastery of the chef from starters to desserts. Truly excellent cuisine in the area.
Friendly and attentive service.
New and welcoming structure immersed in a beautiful landscape.
25/08/2024: The place is very welcoming and the quantity of tables is adequate for its size.
We enjoyed some excellent dishes, the ingredients of which are often of their own production.
A delicate lentil soup with a small amount of river prawns, excellent crepe timbales with vegetable and saffron ratatouille, tasty spaghettoro verrigni with river prawns, mint and lemon
grilled lamb and to finish a delicious pear tart.
All accompanied by one of their organic wines, a wonderful Trebbiano mixed with Malvasia.
The owner then offered us some gentian and some ratafia made by him.
What can I say.... our experience was truly satisfying and I think we will return to taste other dishes.
