I also organized a birthday there and everything was magnificent!✨
The restaurant is divided into two parts, one on the veranda as you enter, and the other inside, but still all united.
The fresh fish, the delicious sushi!!
But above all, don't take it for granted that the ravioli and bao are fabulous!!!
Great range of very good wines!
Nice and friendly staff.
When I have time and I'm in the area I come here often. I recommend it for those who love à la carte sushi and love an elegant atmosphere. It is located on a main pedestrian street.

28/12/2024: A Wednesday before Christmas hó
Lesson at the Lyzard Academy in Porto S. Elpidio. At 6pm, at 9pm I have rehearsals with the group, in between I have to pick up a gift for my son. I have to find a place to have dinner.
I'm nostalgic for the East so I ask for advice from colleagues who recommend this place to me. I decide to go, first of all a small, well looked after local reception. With a private room with orientable spores. Excellent for couples. I ask the waitress at the top of the menu for advice and she guides and advises me. Good miso soup.
But it's when the sushi arrives that everything changes. It's been decades since I've enjoyed tasting sushi every now and then and it's been decades since I've tried sushi this spectacularly good. Very good tempura. Good theme. Perhaps worth trying again in a group or as a couple. THE best in the area and beyond! Highly recommended!

03/11/2024: UMAMI Take Away & Sushi Bar in Porto San Giorgio is one of the best places for sushi in the Fermo area! The quality of the fish is excellent: always fresh and prepared with great care. Every dish is a delight, from the classic nigiri to the creative uramaki offerings, everything is truly exquisite. The variety of dishes is wide, perfect both for those looking for traditional flavors and for those who want to try something new. You immediately notice the attention to the quality and freshness of the ingredients, which makes every bite an authentic experience.
The prices are absolutely fair for the level of quality they offer, which makes UMAMI an excellent choice for those who love sushi but don't want to give up good value for money. The service is also excellent: the staff is courteous, attentive and always ready to recommend the best dishes, making the experience even more pleasant. The location is small but welcoming and intimate, ideal for a relaxing dinner or an informal meal, without too much confusion. Even if the restaurant has few tables, this aspect contributes to creating a pleasant and intimate atmosphere, perfect for enjoying each dish to the fullest.
UMAMI is located along the national road, a convenient location for those passing through or living in the area. I highly recommend trying this restaurant to anyone who is a lover of sushi and Japanese cuisine. It is a little jewel in the Fermo area, where you are happy to return every time to enjoy fresh and authentic flavours.

03/01/2025: Recensione un po' spiacevole: prenoto asporto per il 31 dicembre e mi danno come orario le 8:30; è un po' tardi ma accetto ugualmente e completo l'ordine via whatsapp. Il feeling è buono anche perché accettano, con alcune limitazioni, i cambi richiesti nella composizione del sushi visto che non amiamo philadelphia (che secondo me assassina il sushi) e il cetriolo (altro semi-abominio).
Arrivo al locale 2 minuti in anticipo e mi sorprende vedere che ci sono almeno altre 15 persone in attesa (ragionevolmente non possono esser tutte in anticipo) ma soprattutto che ne continuano ad arrivare. Dopo oltre 40 minuti di attesa ricevo la mia ordinazione ma assisto ad alcune persone che vanno via stanche dell'attesa chiedendo di esser richiamate quando l'ordinazione sarà pronta e tra dentro e fuori il locale ci sono almeno 20 persone in attesa del turno, oltre ad almeno 2 coppie in paziente attesa per un servizio al tavolo.
Conclusioni parziali: ok provare a soddisfare il maggior numero di clienti possibile ma la gestione dei tempi è fondamentale per non creare clienti delusi dall'esperienza. Nota di merito: in tutta la situazione il personale ha mantenuto il controllo (non facile!) e mi ha offerto spontaneamente uno sconto del 10% per scusarsi dell'attesa (questa gestione proattive merita un voto in più).
Dopo questa premessa e la coda di gente in paziente attesa, le mie aspettative su quanto avevo ordinato erano decisamente alte ma devo ammettere con dispiacere che il sushi era buono ma non eccezionale (la materia prima era di buona qualità) mentre i takoyaki decisamente migliori. Scusante: probabilmente va ritestato in data differente dal 31/12 e in condizioni di minor afflusso. Nota di demerito: in uno dei roll c'era la philadelphia... ma ormai era troppa la fame!
