Furthermore, if this elegantly and meticulously crafted cellar houses approximately 1,650 different wines, totaling around 35,000 precious bottles, not to mention spirits, whiskeys, and so on, then we are witnessing an establishment that not only possesses the capacity to sell wines, but also understands that to complement these treasures, it must offer a cuisine that justifies such a significant investment. Da Gigetto is a beautiful, bourgeois restaurant with a cuisine that prioritizes flavor, where we can still find hints of the recent past. Carefully prepared appetizers welcome guests, featuring exceptional smoked butter, and are designed to speak of the land and tradition. I had the pleasure of enjoying two dishes during my recent visit last Monday. A pasta stuffed with veal and served with pumpkin cream. A beautiful pasta dish that makes your teeth work, bathed in a flavorful meat sauce. A dish to reflect on, showing that the path to modernity comes from tradition, and the path to flavor comes from great ingredients that culminate in the feeling that everything has been executed to perfection. The second course elevates the simple ingredient: a superbly braised tongue, accompanied by a curious green sauce, to which beetroot has been added. The tongue is then seared on a griddle. Excellent. Cheeses at a magnificent point of maturation brought the meal to a close. Accompanied by a Ratafia. A local Prosecco and glasses of the delicious Barbera 100%, Nizza DOCG 2016. Magnificent Italesse glasses for each wine serving, enhancing the pleasure of drinking. Good homemade bread. Superb service that attends to the diner at all times. To experience what the grand bourgeois restaurants that once brought happiness should be like.

The risotto and duck were excellent; I enjoyed other dishes a little less. Kudos to Alberto for his passion and professionalism in explaining the wine selection. His service truly made the difference.

Superlative food, decidedly above-average, and attentive service. From the appetizers to the Amaro del Frate liqueur, you feel cared for and well-attended. A unique experience, worth repeating.

11/10/2025: First of all, the newly refurbished rooms are amazing, we really appreciated the modern interior design and all the available amenities. The staff were super helpful and kind, spoke great English, too. There are parking spots for guests right in front of the hotel. The hotel also has its own restaurant, we weren’t able to try it out, but will make sure to do so next time.

15/11/2025: Cod dinner with friends, we were welcomed very warmly, family atmosphere with well-laid tables, entree with delicious cod meatball, three appetizers, artichoke with creamed cod good, cod salad with Treviso radicchio very good and polenta with cod Vicenza style and honey mushrooms, spectacular, cod risotto fantastic, perfectly cooked and masterfully creamed, it deserved a second, then tortellone filled with cod with cherry tomatoes and prawns also delicious, as a second course cod Vicenza style I would say perfect, orange sorbet, panettone of their production with hot zamajone, coffee, bitters and grappa offered, house wine both white and red very good, water at will, €60 well spent, I thought more given the quality served and above all the quantity to definitely return, the only flaw, another company next door very noisy, but not It's certainly the management's fault.

04/11/2025: On Friday, October 31st, during a visit to Verona, we stopped at this place for an aperitivo, as usual. We've been going there for years, and to be honest, it's never disappointed us. This time, however, we were quite surprised, especially when it came to the bill. We ordered two glasses of wine (a Soave and a Ripasso) and two "poci," small samples of food served in a small pan and accompanied by bread—bread, which, incidentally, is billed separately. The "poci" we chose were a Parmigiana and a Tomato and Stracciatella. The first turned out to be a simple stewed diced eggplant, far from a true parmigiana; the second consisted of a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce with a very small amount of stracciatella. I should point out that the price list clearly stated the prices, so there was no reason to object to formal correctness; However, the quantity and quality of what was served seemed completely disproportionate to the overall cost and the expectations we had built up over years of frequenting the restaurant.
