12/04/2026: All in all, a truly unique experience – steak cooked over an open fire in the fireplace, something I'd never experienced before. At first, I was skeptical, as I initially wanted to order something from the menu, but when I saw the steaks, I took the plunge and didn't regret my decision. The meat was so tender and flavorful – the best I've ever eaten.

22/03/2026: A truly terrible experience. We had lunch at Al Toscano today and the food was terrible. We ordered a 1.8 kg Galician rubia ribeye steak: it arrived cold, completely undercooked and cut too thin, a clear sign of poor meat management. It was initially served uncut, then returned, cut incorrectly, and even reheated over the grill because, according to them, it was still raw. The result was terrible. Not only that, but we had to send it back again to recook it, and even then the meat was still undercooked. Meat like that can't be cooked three times, especially not after it's already been cut. This is truly appalling management for a restaurant that bills itself as a meat specialty. We also ordered the baked pumpkin, which unfortunately was partially raw: unacceptable for such a simple dish. Another negative note: for a restaurant like this, with a limited meat selection, it's a serious lack of attention to detail. The oil served was of poor quality, nothing special or flavorful, and they didn't even have coarse salt available. After asking for it, they brought us a simple salt grinder, which we actually had to open to season the meat properly. To make matters worse, the restaurant only had two tables occupied on a Sunday lunch: perhaps they should ask themselves some questions. Considering the prices are anything but cheap, such quality is even more inexcusable. We brought this up at the end of the meal, but it remains one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a steakhouse. Truly disappointing.
