Located in a quiet area but easily reachable from Mantua, this osteria is a little gem where tradition can be felt in every detail, from the rustic furnishings to the inviting aromas coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere is welcoming and convivial, perfect for a dinner with friends or an evening with family. The service is attentive but never intrusive, and you can perceive a genuine passion for hospitality. The homemade desserts, such as the sbrisolona with hot zabaglione, deserve a special mention: a perfect ending to a culinary experience that warms the heart.

18/06/2025: Sono stato a mangiare in un lunedì di giugno.
Ho preso la tartare di tonno, buonissima con le gocce di salsa di soia ( delle perle che poi si scioglievano in bocca) e poi delle polpette di seppia alla griglia accompagnate da una fantastica caponata.

Il ristorante si trova in una location davvero suggestiva, nel cuore del centro storico di Mantova. L'atmosfera è senza dubbio piacevole e curata, ma purtroppo l’esperienza complessiva non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative, soprattutto considerando i prezzi elevati.
Le porzioni servite erano davvero ridotte, più simili a un assaggio che a un vero piatto. A fronte di un conto piuttosto salato, ci saremmo aspettati una maggiore generosità e qualità.
La nota più spiacevole è arrivata alla fine: al momento del conto ci siamo accorti che erano stati aggiunti due caffè e due bottiglie d’acqua in più rispetto a quanto effettivamente ordinato. Un errore che, in un locale di questo livello, non dovrebbe accadere — e che dà l’impressione di una certa disattenzione, se non altro.
In conclusione, bella location ma rapporto qualità-prezzo decisamente deludente personale gentile e preparato.
