04/10/2025: The food was excellent and the service was also very good. The only problem was that on my way to the restaurant they ran me over on the pedestrian crossing. (They really ran me over.)

20/08/2025: Average. The food is good, but the service is a bit slow when it's crowded, although the staff is very friendly. The location is very beautiful and well-kept, definitely a great sight.

09/11/2025: A historic Chinese restaurant in the Salario neighborhood. After hearing good things about it from several people, I decided to go, as I'm passionate about Asian cuisine. Ya Yuan is an excellent Chinese restaurant: the quality of the ingredients, the beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, and the top-notch service are three characteristics that are not often found. Despite this, however, in my opinion the restaurant in question doesn't fully represent typical and authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu obviously features many Chinese dishes (and also a vast selection of Thai cuisine), but the flavors are very "Italianized" and a bit distant from traditional Chinese flavors (often unique and very different from what we're used to). Of course, being a historic restaurant that's been open for over 30 years, I think this lightening of the flavors is normal to please the palates of as many customers as possible. In conclusion, I can say that it was a lovely evening and that I would return (but with the understanding that it wouldn't be a full immersion in typical Chinese flavors).

21/10/2025: Nice and comfortable environment, friendly staff and typical Asian cuisine. Good value for money. We have eaten many times, both All You Can Eat and normal, both on site and take away.

30/09/2025: I usually enjoy it here, but it's been a while since I've been here. I had a bad experience. I ordered a meat dish, it wasn't good, it had a strong smell. I ate very little of it. I told the staff, but they insisted it was good. They said, "I've eaten a bit now, and I can't change anything." I paid anyway, with a small discount.

23/10/2025: It looks nice and good in the photos but it doesn't dance....Not accessible for "potential" disabled customers in wheelchairs.......in Rome they say "Too bad for you...." :☺️

18/10/2025: — An absolutely disappointing experience. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were treated arrogantly and, in a moment of total disrespect, they even called us "crazy," for no valid reason. An unacceptable attitude that completely ruined the evening. At a restaurant, one expects at least politeness and courtesy, no matter what. We will never return and strongly advise against it to anyone looking for a civil and welcoming environment.

18/10/2025: Nice place, very varied menu with a wide selection. We opted for the all-you-can-eat option. The wait was quick, but we chose a weekday and it wasn't very crowded. The staff was kind and friendly. Overall, very satisfied.

08/07/2025: Traditional dishes cooked to a decent standard. The portions of the starters were generous, but the grilled beef was sparse and very expensive. The price was reasonable, only because we had a 50% discount. The atmosphere was a bit shabby.

13/05/2025: An anonymous, sometimes macabre, desolate place. The food we ate was decent: ravioli with freezer-cold interiors, adequate chicken with vegetables. The service and cleanliness of the place were poor: we had some unclean glasses, and when we asked for clean ones, we received two unclean ones. The positives are the reasonable prices and the friendly staff.

17/11/2025: I'm disabled, and that's why they denied me access! They told me they didn't want to buy a ramp because "€200 would cost us too much" and that "it would only be useful to you"... I can't stand hearing these words! It's scandalous and in violation of the law (ministerial decree 236/1989).
