03/09/2025: We stayed one night with our van. The place is beautiful and quiet, with a lawn and beautiful chestnut trees. I don't recommend the restaurant, which requires cash payment (the POS doesn't work). It's absolutely awful, with commercial, low-quality products that have nothing to do with the Amalfi Coast and its flavors. I forgot to mention that two showers cost me €12 because, after paying €3 each in advance, they were added to my final bill... but I paid in cash anyway.
02/09/2025: We warmly recommend the campsite run by Mr. Antonio. We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. The owner explained in detail how best to get around the Amalfi Coast. The campsite itself is located close to the road, but it is nevertheless quiet and peaceful. A bus to the sea leaves right from the campsite gate. In addition, you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine on the premises, and within walking distance there is a shop, a bakery, and a pizzeria.

25/08/2025: It's the pizzeria of my childhood, and everything has remained the same. Simple atmosphere, good pizza made with quality ingredients. Rosetta and her husband are always so sweet.
01/08/2025: A lovely little restaurant on the mountain road to Amalfi. The owner was very welcoming and had a nice chat about where we were from and where we had been. Her husband cooked the pizza using a traditional wood fuelled oven which we really enjoyed. Prices were very good.

19/10/2025: Well, what can I say? It was fantastic here. Clean, spacious room. Beautiful location. Host Angelo is incredibly hospitable, helped us organize day trips, and has a healthy dose of humor. Every morning we enjoyed a varied breakfast and delicious coffee. The products are organic and homemade. We ate with the family every evening: their son, Alfonso, is a fantastic cook, and we discovered all sorts of new flavors. The pizzas are also excellent. Rosa's desserts and cakes are also very tasty. I wish I could eat more; then I could have tried everything, but there's a limit... For six years now, a fox has been visiting and sharing a bite. We were the only guests in mid-October. Despite that, the family was always there for us and we were spoiled. Compliments!!! And many thanks.
06/09/2025: Highly recommended. A stylish and intimate ambiance. The rooms are attractively and comfortably furnished. The garden has many lovely corners. The food is delicious and traditionally prepared. The lemon ice cream, in particular, is divine and a real treat.

21/06/2025: Qué increíble experiencia fue, superó con creces mis expectativas. Fuimos a una clase de cocina y cata de vinos y la familia no podría haber sido mejor. Eran tan cálidos e invitando me recordó a mis cenas dominicales de la infancia.
Nos alojamos en la costa de Amalfi y tomamos un taxi acuático a la hermosa ciudad de Maiori. Nuestro anfitrión, Aurelio, nos recogió en la ciudad y nos llevó al viñedo. Nos llevó a un breve recorrido por el viñedo y nos enseñó la historia de la propiedad, las vides y los vinos que se elaboraban a partir de las diferentes uvas.
Una vez hecho el recorrido, nos trajeron a la zona del comedor donde conocimos a María (su madre) , su padre, y su hermana (mis disculpas por no recordar sus nombres) entonces fue correcto trabajar.
Comenzamos con un aperitivo de salami fresco y queso y luego cocinamos carrozzo de berenjena con berenjena fresca de su jardín. El segundo plato fue lingüina casera con salsa de albahaca de tomate. Hicimos la pasta fresca con huevos de las gallinas de la propiedad, y la salsa con tomates y albahaca de su jardín. ¡EL MEJOR QUE HE TENIDO!
Habíamos maridado cada plato con el vino recomendado y todo lo que perfeccionamos, terminamos comprando un estuche mixto para ser enviado de vuelta a casa.
Terminamos la comida con un poco de Limoncello casero que Aurelio tuvo la amabilidad de compartir la receta con nosotros, luego nos llevó de regreso a Maiori donde tomamos el taxi acuático de regreso a nuestro hotel. Qué día tan increíble, no podíamos dejar de sonreír. En mi próxima visita a la región sin duda volveré a visitar Basileo!

16/09/2025: The pizza was small, very light, but nothing special. Much of the dough underneath was black and burnt (a dangerously harmful ingredient, carcinogenic). A €2.50 cover charge per person seems a bit excessive for the type of service. The quality/price ratio was quite poor. We didn't have a good experience.

20/07/2025: Due antipasti classici terra serviti in un piatto a testa e avevano una mozzarellinaina due fette di prosciutto crudo tre di salame una fetta di formaggio e due di capicollo poi un tris di carne diviso due persone una porzione di patatine fritte una bordi acqua semplice € 30 a persona totale € 60 troppo cari

24/09/2025: We had dinner here. Great location and very friendly service. Very good food, we were offered a free welcome drink, a "amusegöl" (a traditional Turkish delight), and pastries for dessert. The food was very good quality, praise to the chef. The owner chatted with us for a long time; she was very nice and helpful. We will come back and stay there again.
28/08/2025: A place rich in history and traditional flavors, just as the restaurant's name suggests. Delicious family dinner, courtesy, and great professionalism.

14/10/2025: Excellent food, simple and authentic, and a truly wonderful place, with a garden and fruit trees, farmyard animals, birds... in short, a paradise!
10/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host.
There were only two of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh pizzas.
Unfortunately, there weren't many guests, except for us, and there was a family celebrating a birthday. Luckily, this brought some life to the place. The same family treated us to a slice of cake and a glass of sparkling wine.
Afterwards, they brought us a plate of freshly roasted chestnuts on the house.
Conclusion: excellent food, friendly staff, but we think the decor could be a bit more intimate. Ordering from the menu via a QR code is convenient, but we appreciate a more personal touch.

30/09/2025: It's a shame, the location is beautiful, at the Chiunzi pass, in the breathtaking landscape of Tramonti. The restaurant is also nice, with a large room upstairs and a smaller one downstairs, partially carved out of the rock, with the rock exposed. However, we didn't find the dishes we tried exceptional; in fact, they were rather ordinary. The service was sloppy and listless (I understand that in September the waiter must be tired, but the overall impression wasn't the best). Another rather serious flaw, in my opinion, was the inconvenience of having to eat lunch with the TV on and the unpleasant background noise of a game that wasn't even live, but rather a match from the day before that no one cared about. In short, a real shame.

You got it all here, but if you want this to be the best experience of your life the chef has got you sorted with the best chocolate croissant you ever had. It has a crispy exterior topped with powder and crunchy sugar, and a soft dough with notes of vanilla, lemon and pure love as well as a hearthy finetti filling.
The staff are friendly, lively and ready to give you a good morning and start of your day.
What was supposed to be a boring stop turned into an unforgettable experience. Do not miss yours! Signed, a very happy couple 😁❤️

06/07/2025: The worst restaurant I’ve been in my last 5 years . Tra i peggiori ristoranti che abbiamo cenato negli ultimi 5 anni . Abbiamo ordinato una bistecca fiorentina e hanno avuto il coraggio di portarci un osso alto 8 centimetri di una bistecca già consumata da altri e di fianco vari pezzi di carne di vario tipo . E’ stata una cosa terribile . Non l’abbiamo mangiata affatto e alle nostre lamentele ci hanno detto che non capivamo niente di cagne .
Il pane era umido e molliccio , per avere olio e sale abbiamo dovuto ricordarglielo 5 volte .
Servizio pessimo . Evitate di andare se non volete essere presi per i fondelli . Il conto ?? 110 € per una bistecca non mangiata per poi essere anche accusati di non capire niente di bistecche fiorentine , io che ho vissuto 13 anni a Firenze.
Se non volete essere truffati da questi lestofanti , evitate di fermarvi lì . A 100 metri c’è un altro ristorante che merita in termini di qualità , servizio e cortesia .

03/07/2025: Ristorante su strada vicino ad Amalfi, con parcheggio privato.
Cucina di pesce, carne e pizzeria.
Personale molto accogliente, ci hanno servito la loro focaccia appena sfornata, ottima.
Abbiamo provato gli gnocchi alla sorrentina, porzione molto abbondante e ben condita, così come gli scialatielli.
Sempre abbondanti anche i secondi : scaloppine al limone e grigliata di carne.
Prezzo nella media.

L’Osteria Reale di Gete, incastonata tra i monti verdi di Tramonti, rappresenta l’essenza autentica e raffinata della tradizione culinaria campana. Un luogo dove il tempo sembra rallentare, e ogni dettaglio – dal piatto alla vista – racconta una storia di passione, qualità e amore per il territorio.
Il cibo è genuino, ma mai banale: piatti eleganti e curati, che uniscono la semplicità della cucina contadina alla raffinatezza dell’alta gastronomia. I sapori sono netti, veri, esaltati da materie prime di altissimo livello.
