21/01/2025: An enchanted place!! Super top and plentiful typical cuisine.
19/01/2025: After a few attempts I managed to book for a lunch with friends. Beautiful location, rustic but welcoming. Good service, friendly staff and owners who are a pleasure to chat with. They offer a fixed menu with seasonal products, and I must say that at the end of the long lunch we all woke up satisfied with the quality and quantity. Don't miss the baked potatoes with onion and cream cheese, and the Aspromontana beans. The first ones are excellent. In general above what is expected from a typical restaurant. Adequate price. I will definitely go back.

16/11/2024: Excellent stuffed sandwiches in a characteristically mountain setting. Penna bread has always been famous but all the other products are also excellent. Mandatory stop even just to make a quick stop and buy a couple of typical products. As a loyal customer I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

04/02/2025: Rustic and welcoming place, excellent food with quality raw materials and fast and impeccable service, kind and helpful staff and, what should not be overlooked, the cost is absolutely adequate for the meal. Practically a must try and try again absolutely! Highly recommended.
03/02/2025: As soon as I entered the place I was captured by the style, I liked it a lot.
The menu is quite interesting, with an imaginative choice of first courses and less so of second courses. Good choice on desserts too.
The house starter (single dish) is very good, it's a shame that some dishes were served lukewarm.
Also very satisfied with the first courses and desserts.
The staff was kind and always present; average prices.
I will probably come back to try the other first courses on the menu and also the pizza which I was told very well about.

28/01/2025: decent food, good but not excellent, prices a little too high (personal opinion), all in all, I'll be back.
14/01/2025: Helpful and friendly staff, welcoming and typical place. We arrived later than the reservation due to traffic but they welcomed us immediately and assigned us a table after a short wait. Excellent and plentiful dishes. Advised!

30/12/2024: We had the displeasure of having lunch in this place, which we already knew, on December 27th. Leaving aside the service which was not very interested in how our lunch was going and whether we were satisfied, the food seemed "old" and reheated among other things badly. All the dishes arrived almost cold from the first courses, through the second courses, to the side dishes. We also noticed differences in dishes between our table and the others, which left us stunned. Even the dessert (the only dessert available to everyone) seemed several days old.
We are truly sorry to have to leave this highly negative review.

12/01/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno in famiglia, cibo gustoso (le mie tagliatelle ai funghi erano super) tempi di attesa giusti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Locale accogliente e personale cordiale, ci torneremo!
05/01/2025: Mangiato bene, prezzo di norma perché ormai meno di 35/40 euro non paghi più da nessuna parte , nota stonata ,un conto prima del mio ha pagato 296 euro e gli ha offerto gli amari, io 270 mi ha messo nel conto 5 caffè,boooo ,per non parlare di 2 cannoli 10 euro

05/12/2024: Atmosfera familiare e locale con affaccio da cui puoi vedere Reggio, lo stretto e la Sicilia. Cibo ottimo e vario, prodotti locali e davvero buoni, gustosi e caratteristici. La cucina con i suoi piatti tipici delizia tutti i tipi di palati. Funghi freschissimi e raccolti personalmente dai proprietari con cui poi vengono preparate le varie pietanze. Carne deliziosa. Tutto fatto e preparato da loro. Menù ricco e vario. Personale ottimo, di compagnia e che ti fa sentire davvero a tuo agio, proprio come a casa, mantenendo però la professionalità. Assolutamente consigliato e da provare! Quando vengo in Calabria per me è una tappa fissa, se si potessero dare più di 5 stelle non esiterei a dargliele!

18/09/2024: ''L' angolo del gusto''. ristorante all' interno dell' ''Hotel cenaatrale'', nella piazza centrale di Gambarie, si fa notare per la semplicità della sua cucina e per il locale ben curato, la cordialità del persale.
Gli antipasti (di montagna e della casa), prodotti aspromontani (formaggi, salumi, 'nduja) sono caratteristici della zona, sono comuni nei ristoranti di Cambarie. Niente di straordinario i maccheroni al ragù e i tagliolini ai funghi porcini. Interessantela zuppa di fagioli e funghi. Non male il gelato della casa e i profiteroles. Buono il vino della casa.
Conto al di sotto della media.

09/08/2024: Posto locale e accogliente. Personale disponibile e generoso nei consigli. Se volete mangiare una zuppa di fagioli e funghi vi consiglio di venire qua. Abbiamo saltato gli antipasti ma guardando gli altri tavoli ci siamo pentiti
23/07/2024: Rustica taverna nella piazza del paese. Gestori accoglienti e gentili. Ho mangiato la zuppa di funghi e fagioli più buona mai assaggiata. Anche le patate con le verdure erano straordinari. E i peperoni con le molliche una bontà. È adatto a vegani. Grazie! Ci tornerò. Anzi, ci sto tornando!
