19/08/2025: Il Pellicano has been a regular stop when I visit my sister in Umbria since 1998.
When I was younger, I'd stop in for sandwiches and a beer; now I use it to pick up a delicious takeout pizza. The dough is well-made, well-risen (so much so that you won't wake up thirsty the next day), and the wide selection of flavors is worth trying. Recommended for anyone passing through the San Faticchio area and surrounding towns.
18/08/2025: We had dinner at Pellicano and, in addition to the generous portions, we were served by very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas were excellent. Prices were average. I recommend it!

to judge, you have to feel like you're living every moment of the experience before you can give a final rating.
I walk into a restaurant and expect a warm welcome, and the staff made us feel like regulars. I give it a 5-star rating.
Then, once you're seated at the table, you expect to eat well. Well, we chose traditional dishes and felt the desire to serve good food. I give it a 5-star rating.
And let's not forget that even though we had our Cucciolona with us, a peculiar Maremma dog with her obsessions, she was also welcomed with kindness and affection.
And finally, we need to consider the exit.
The one where you say it was wonderful to be there and that you want to return.
I want to point out that the prices are fair.

03/08/2025: During our stay near Lake Garda, my partner and I, traveling from Rome, had the pleasure of discovering an exceptional restaurant, booked through TheFork. The experience was nothing short of memorable, thanks to a welcoming atmosphere and a refined ambiance.
Because it's a grill restaurant, our focus was on the meat, which was superb and cooked to perfection, according to our preference (rare). The restaurant offers a choice of three levels of marbling, with options changing daily. We opted for medium marbling, selecting a Scottish cut, as the more heavily marbling Polish cut didn't particularly appeal to us.
I want to express my appreciation to the chef, whose kindness and expertise enriched our experience. He explained the cooking technique used, which involves a specially designed grill to allow the wood smoke to adhere to the meat, giving it an intense and delicious flavor. A nice touch was the rosemary-infused oil, which further enhanced the flavor of the meat.
Although we considered adding a side dish, we chose to focus on the meat so as not to weigh ourselves down. However, I highly recommend the appetizers, especially the bacon-wrapped tomino and the pecorino with truffle, both excellent. To accompany the dinner, we enjoyed a local house wine, which we were so impressed with, we decided to buy it today.
In short, an extraordinary culinary experience that I highly recommend to anyone in the area.
