01/09/2024: Trattoria where you can eat very well, generous portions, excellent prices and an exceptional welcome. The rustic gnocchi, the Sardinian trio and the special "taglia tutti cose" are delicious. We will absolutely be back.

20/11/2024: Hidden gem in the Sardinian mountains
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Desulo you must do yourself a favour and dine at the Gennargentu restaurant. Eliana and the staff will give you a brilliant dining experience. We stopped on a festival day and had a fixed menu meal for a very reasonable price. The many dishes of antipasti were absolutely amazing and along with a glass of wine nearly filled us up. But then the two primo courses arrived and we couldn’t resist, actually we also ordered the porceddu extra which was delicious.
The service was very professional and efficient. Take time to have a look at all the hand carved wooden items, have you ever seen a wooden chainsaw? To top this all off, Eliana was so kind to allow us to park our camper overnight in the restaurant car park. She mentioned to us if tourists have a meal at the restaurant they are welcome to park for the night if space allows. Please call beforehand.

24/02/2024: Siamo stati a Nuoro di rientro da un viaggio e capitiamo in questa paninoteca x caso...ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo..i panini enormi e buonissimi...la birra in caraffa esalta l'appetito....bravi ragazzi siete fortissimi!!

Generous portions without many frills, honest prices, even the super sandwiches, from the simplest to the most elaborate, and for all sizes! 🤣! the environment is at home! You will be served and pampered by Monica, who will be able to advise you and follow you throughout the dinner! Drop by, I recommend booking in advance! The room is small and seats are snapped up 😊
14/11/2024: I came to dinner with friends from Macomer and we had a very good time, the meat is good and very tender.
Monica and her partner work hard to manage and run this very welcoming little place, even though they are the ones working on it, the menu is quite extensive.
I don't mind vegetarians or vegans who might find delicacies for their needs but perhaps this is not the right place for them.
A sore point are the parking spaces, in the immediate vicinity they are limited.

07/10/2024: Mah…mi aspettavo qualcosa in più leggendo le recensioni ma, diciamo, no sono rimasto ne piacevolmente colpito né deluso: un boh, niente che mi faccia pensare di tornare.
Conto un po’ salatino forse ma siamo in Sardegna, ci sta…forse.
11/09/2024: Dopo averci "obbligati" a scegliere i peggiori tavoli perché "solo" due persone, abbiamo ordinato una grigliata di carne per due, ma la quantità era scarsa per due persone (es. 1 sola braciola).
Manzo troppo cotto, nonostante ci si fosse raccomandato di tenerlo al sangue. Deludente per una griglieria.
Vino e contorni invece molto buoni.

Menù ricco.
Antipasti, ravioli, carne. Tutto di una qualità eccellente.
Porzioni abbondanti.
Prezzo ONESTISSIMO.
Personalmente ho adorato questo posto e l’atmosfera.
