The staff made us feel completely at home while maintaining a true fine-dining level of professionalism. The steaks are easily some of the best I’ve tried in all of Italy; perfectly cooked, incredibly flavourful, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Every bite was memorable. And the wine list? Truly impressive. It’s on par with many high-end restaurants, offering an exceptional selection that pairs beautifully with the menu. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for the perfect bottle to complement your meal, you won’t be disappointed. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the Cantuccimisu; their incredible take on tiramisu. It’s a must-try dessert and the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. 25/11/2025: Out for work, the perfect dinner to revitalize the day. Unexpected portions of exquisite roast caciocavallo cheese, roasted to perfection, without drying it out, melting the inside while still leaving the outside tender. The beef fillet in Tintilla wine was a superb experience: perfectly cooked rare, with a strong wine reduction for at least 300-400 grams of excellent quality meat. A vast and comprehensive menu for every craving. Truly satisfied, highly recommended.

21/01/2026: I went to La Vecchia Taverna in Macchia di Isernia and I have to say it was a fantastic experience! The place is welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff is incredibly kind, always helpful and smiling, making you feel immediately at ease. The pizza is truly delicious, with fresh and flavorful ingredients, but the real highlight is the desserts: absolutely worth trying, each one better than the last! Another great advantage is the large parking lot, which is very convenient if you're driving. Overall, everything was perfect: food, service, and convenience. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful evening eating excellent pizza without any worries.

13/01/2026: Excellent food, shame about the parking which is a bit messy (otherwise more cars would fit) but also nice on Friday with the dancing evening, excellent barman, great cocktails but even in this circumstance it's a shame about some walls which if they were removed there would be more space to dance but overall I recommend it

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness, warmth, and rare attention. The owner, a delightful person, made us feel truly at home, as if we were long-awaited guests. Lunch was simply exceptional. Carefully prepared dishes, authentic ingredients, and perfect pairings. The quality of the food left us speechless, but what truly made this experience special was the evident passion with which everything was made. A passion that can be felt in every gesture, every flavor, every word. The owner was not only an impeccable host, but also an engaging storyteller...he told us stories, anecdotes, and shared with us a piece of his life and his dedication to this wonderful place. 15/02/2026: Beautiful and very welcoming place. Specialty steaks, fillet steak, and T-bone steak, perfectly cooked. Very knowledgeable staff, always smiling and very efficient, as is the owner. Highly recommended.
