03/01/2026: Good food, ruined by terrible service.
All the dishes I ordered (appetizers, burgers, drinks) were good, although the burgers weren't cooked to the required doneness.
Unfortunately, my evening was ruined when a beer was spilled on me, staining my shirt, bag, and cardigan, which were on the chair.
When it was time to serve the beers, the waitress was bumped into by the chef (who, sitting behind me and chatting calmly with friends all evening, I assumed was the owner), resulting in the beer being thrown at me, staining the chair and my personal items.
The waitress whose beer was unfortunately spilled by her colleague was very polite, attentive when taking orders, and the only one who proved capable of her job, compared to her colleagues.
- The two runners behind me had a lot of downtime, and despite the situation, they showed neither interest in the incident nor did they clean up the mess, remaining stationary and unengaged for a long time in front of the kitchen.
- The blonde bartender, when the waitress asked her to clean it with a mop, waved her off, expressing disinterest and unwillingness to help her colleague.
This resulted in:
- A wait of 1.5 hours from the time we sat down at the table until the sandwiches arrived;
- A cleaning fee for my personal items (not offset by any discount, other than a few cents on the bill);
- isolation for me, due to the fact that the wait for cleaning was at least 20 minutes, while I had moved to the other side of the table, and therefore away from the friends I was sitting next to;
- a consequent cursory cleaning of the area where I was sitting;
- a deterioration in the mood of everyone at the table.
If I were the owner, I would spend more time training the staff, who demonstrate poor teamwork skills, as well as a lack of customer service.
The chef/owner didn't apologize or care about the inconvenience caused to either a customer or the affected colleague, and didn't take action to improve the situation, despite hearing our negative comments throughout the evening.
I would add that:
- the menu is confusing; for example, some burgers indicate fries, others don't;
- we requested four 8-piece sandwiches, split in half, but they were all delivered to us split;
- A friend requested a change to his sandwich, which was not honored;
- The women's restroom cannot be closed.
Unfortunately, a dinner that would have been delicious was ruined by a lack of customer service; the only competent waitress was completely abandoned by her colleagues.
The order errors were reported to the cashier, but not even the cashier apologized.
08/12/2025: I made a sandwich with a Black Angus burger, melted cheese and two other ingredients, medium rare. A sandwich arrived with a burger inside that wasn't frozen, moreover there was nothing melted, it was a slice of cheese placed on top of the burger that hadn't melted. I told the staff about this and they told me they would remake it for me, but at this point I didn't want it anymore. Moral of the story? The bill was paid full price without even any discount.
