The food was quite salty and I don't know if it was delicious, but I just looked at the ratings and went with Japanese friends I hadn't seen in a while on a business trip. I didn't want to spoil the mood, so I just ate what they asked for, but I was quite embarrassed by the lady boss's attitude toward Korean customers. However, when I go on a business trip every year, the food at Korean restaurants in Milan is generally salty and not very good. ----------------- I am writing an additional review after seeing the restaurant owner's comment below. You wrote a long article using your own memory, but it is very unfortunate and saddening. They belittle previous Korean customers and use their own bad experiences as examples, telling us that they shouldn't do this or that to us. It depends on your situation, so if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else. I followed the rude owner's demands and ate the salty food I paid for... A female boss from Korea who especially criticizes Korean customers... He did a good job and the Korean customer did a bad job... but he made a small dish called Pial where he emptied all the food that was said to be salty... The price of the food was 15 to 40 euros, and he even made it salty and left it, but when he said that he didn't leave any food, what proof would he have for questioning him? As everyone is a customer, I will give in and treat them as bad customers, so the boss just does as he says. If you went for the first time and won't go again, why bother asking yourself tired questions about what's going on? There were a lot of no-shows from Korean customers, so I should have known when they started talking foaming at the mouth when making the reservation. Female boss! Please keep in mind that if you update the customer at length, like a novel, it proves that your mind or way of thinking is not normal, and this could be a legal problem.

22/03/2025: But what a beautiful discovery! Dinner with friends on Friday evening. Please note that it is difficult to find parking in the area, so leave your home early. Nice place, friendly staff. But the food… Very good! I highly recommend the beef bao and Cantonese rice - simple but special dishes. Just as the prices are excellent. We will happily return. We also took a bottle of Franciacorta. Final price less than €50 each, food, wine and desserts included, and trust me we left very full.

11/02/2025: Very nice place, quiet and clean, well spaced tables. Staff helpful, but not particularly communicative. The menu is interesting, divided by Chinese geographical areas. Dim sum good, but not exceptional. Very pleasant and balanced pad thai. Good fried loin and sweet and sour prawns. Generous portions. Average prices.

I tried it because there was fish stew, but the radish wasn't cooked and just had a fishy smell... I don't think the price is bad, but I was waiting to order dessert and tell the staff that it had a fishy smell, but it wasn't easy to make eye contact because I was looking at my phone, and in the end, I waited for 10-20 minutes and just paid and left... Better go to another restaurant...

24/02/2025: I'm a Korean who is serious about kimchi stew, and it's actually better than kimchi stew at most restaurants. Haha. It was 15 euros for kimchi stew in an earthen pot, rice, 3 kinds of main dishes, and plenty of cabbage kimchi, so it was okay considering the prices in Italy😊 It's really spicy and rich, and there's a lot of kimchi!! Soft tofu, pork without any odor, and chewy red pepper powder and garlic. There was no need for any digestive aids. It's basically a neatly managed restaurant and has a very impressive owner :) Rather than being overly friendly, I think Gaya's biggest advantage is appropriate customer service and delicious food (which is also very Korean). If you are looking for a Korean restaurant in Milan, this is it!! I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know who is visiting Milan👍🏻

19/02/2025: Always heard of it, so famous that I absolutely wanted to try it. The line is often long but I must say that it was fast, considering that the ravioli are handmade (including the dough and filling) The ravioli are truly another world compared to those eaten in Chinese restaurants.
