07/01/2026: The food was very fresh and delicious, and the waiters were excellent. They're renovating the service, so they didn't have tablets, making ordering a hassle. We waited a long time for our food. The bathroom was quite dirty. I'll be back when they update it, though, because the food was very good and well-prepared, and they had a wide selection. I recommend making a reservation, as there aren't many seats.

01/03/2026: The place is a little dated but very cute and welcoming. The food was very good! We had lots of sushi, udon, meat dumplings, and katsudon (excellent udon and katsudon). The staff were very friendly!

24/02/2026: We had a nice selection of vegetarian japaneese food. It was delicious! Clean and tastefull ambiente, friendly service and a moderate price. I highly recommand this place and will come back sometime.

05/03/2026: The staff is excellent, and they deserve all three stars, but: - The quality of the food is very mediocre, with some truly bad ingredients (shrimp); - The portion sizes are modest; - Hygiene is questionable, considering there was no soap in the bathroom, nor in the staff restroom, which I could see because the door was open.

20/03/2026: Years later, I still feel intense indignation at the appalling character of the female owner of this restaurant. The noodles I ordered a day in advance didn't even contain shrimp; this kind of perfunctory service was an insult to the customer's intelligence. Even more disgusting was that simply because I used two napkins, she publicly and sarcastically berated me for "wasting Earth's resources." I still vividly remember her face, abusing her power and using environmentalism as a guise for discrimination. She was extremely obsequious and servile to foreigners, yet turned around and attacked her fellow Chinese with extreme cruelty. This wasn't an isolated incident; many of my Chinese friends have had similar experiences of being humiliated by her. This ingrained racial hypocrisy and sycophancy towards foreigners while bullying one's own is a disgrace to overseas Chinese. If you don't want to pay money to be insulted and humiliated by such a psychologically twisted person, please, absolutely avoid this place!

10/01/2026: The food is very authentic, and the menu features many traditional Taiwanese dishes. I highly recommend the braised pork rice and grass jelly! You can taste that all the dishes are made with fresh ingredients, unlike many Chinese restaurants that use frozen food. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance!

21/02/2026: We've been regulars at Kandoo since it opened. When we want to savor oriental cuisine, we have no doubts about where to go. The refined, designer atmosphere stands out from all the other restaurants. The dishes are always top-notch, featuring top-quality ingredients that are constantly updated. The wine selection is absolutely niche and unique. Our must-haves are always the uramaki with scallops, amaebi, mango, and red prawns, and recently we've chosen the wagyu version, a must-try! A special thanks to the owner Gianni for his kindness and savoir faire. Keep up the good work!!! 👍

19/01/2026: I went for lunch because I was told they had a fixed-price lunch menu. The food was quite good; the pasta was al dente, the steak was good, and you eat on a cloth tablecloth, not paper placemats. The place is well-ventilated, so there aren't any cooking smells in the dining room like other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the lunch menu included some dishes I don't eat, so I opted for a second course different from the main menu. This didn't work out for me, and I ended up paying a lot more than a business lunch. Of course, I knew I wouldn't pay the fixed price, but I think they need a bit more flexibility, especially during work lunch breaks. That said, if you're flexible and don't have any particular dietary restrictions, I recommend it; otherwise, I'd avoid it.

20/12/2025: Let's start by saying that the service was extremely slow: almost an hour just to get the first appetizers. The location is very intimate and well-kept, but the menu is a bit confusing, as are the internet redirects: you might think Taqoz exists (which is also available on major delivery platforms), only to arrive and only see Mezcla, oh well. We ordered mostly "Mexican" food: a very timid guacamole, almost tasteless, and with almost no onion, it felt like eating a blended avocado with cherry tomatoes. The tacos were quite poor, with a questionable consistency and inconsistent fillings. We also ordered quesadillas, hoping to reevaluate the cuisine: absolutely tasteless! I don't know how it was possible, but despite the presence of five or more ingredients, it was very difficult to distinguish even a single flavor. The prices are completely disproportionate for both the quantity and quality of the products: a measly quesadilla costs a whopping 9 euros. It's a shame, because despite the slow and confusing service, the staff have always been very friendly; this place deserves a thorough re-evaluation. I seriously doubt I'll return.

01/01/2026: Absolutely loved this place! We are traveling from Hong Kong. The food was authentic and incredibly delicious. Our favorite are Ramen and fried rice. The owners were so warm, friendly, and welcoming — they made us feel right at home. They even took the time to share great local travel tips with me, which was such a thoughtful touch. We truly appreciated their hospitality and kindness. Would definitely come back again if we have the chance!

16/02/2026: I had the grilled meat, which was good and well-marinated. I would include more vegetables and potatoes/bread (carbs) for a more balanced meal. I didn't really like the bowl with ONLY green salad, especially considering the price. Nice place and friendly staff.

10/02/2026: Booking through TheFork was very easy; finding parking was a little less easy. The staff is courteous and efficient. The restaurant is decorated in Chinese style, and we chose a table with a grill. We ordered sautéed calamari with kimchi, kimchi pancakes, Korean rice dumplings, and a platter of marinated beef with vegetables: all very good, with a special mention for the kimchi pancakes. The tableside grill is fun, although, despite the good ventilation, a slight cooking smell lingers on your clothes. The Korean dessert of red beans and tea ice cream was also excellent. The wine selection is rather limited. Overall, a positive experience: recommended.

02/01/2026: Undoubtedly the best place in Parioli! Wonderful wine cellar, luxurious location, and excellent service! From aperitif to dinner, and even after dinner, everything was wonderful! The ribeye steak is wonderful, worthy of applause.

20/12/2025: Well-known in Rome, this is a great place for aperitivo. Nothing special for food...but good, average, and expensive.
