11/10/2025: We're pretty regulars: we come here on Mondays at least once a month. Let me start by saying that I'm a restaurateur, so some things matter more to me than others.
I can tolerate a mediocre selection of meat, as long as the service and overall experience are up to par. The steaks are always well-served, with the right knife, and the dishes are hot: no complaints.
It's a perfect place if you want to spend little and eat decently.
The problem is that in 2025, people don't go out just to eat, but to have a nice evening. And this evening was ruined by the person at the cashier—the blonde, curly-haired girl.
During payment (€168 bill), we handed over €200 in cash. She, distracted, saw €170 and gave us €2 in change.
Now, the moment of payment is sacred: you look, you listen, you say hello, you thank us. Otherwise, we might as well implement automatic payment—it would be more efficient and certainly more polite.
When we pointed out the mistake, her response was a masterpiece of rudeness: instead of calmly checking, she practically accused us of lying, asking, "What's the point of giving me 200 euros if the bill is 168?"
We explained (it was absurd to have to do so) that we were two families and those were the pieces we had.
From there, instead of apologizing for her tone, she proceeded to call me "rude" for raising my voice—in a place where you can already hear nothing.
The conclusion? Inappropriate jokes and the attitude of someone who still hasn't figured out that she works in a restaurant, not a post office.
Too bad, because a smile and an apology would have been enough to close everything in a second.
But no.
To make the owner understand who we are, we are the ones who left the table at his request, shortly after coffee, for a disabled boy who could only have sat at that table.
19/09/2025: Always a guarantee. Only last time did I find out they don't have chicken or pulled pork for lunch, too bad!
