25/03/2024: I passed by bike on Sunday, knowing the place I decided to stop for lunch. A cutting board (small) 1/2 liter. of house white wine a grappa to a coffee. With the tragliere you are given a bag with 4 (small) loaves inside, however I asked for a further supplement. They brought me another one with 3 (small) loaves. On the cutting board 8 slices of Milanese salami (not local or sophisticated), 5 of speck cut in half, 4 of coppa, 3 pieces of fresh cheese and 3 pieces of parmesan and two pickled cucumbers cut into four pieces. The food and bread are great but the price is crazy. I spent 30 euros and I read on the receipt a 1.5 euro supplement for bread...... the grappa (normal white) was significantly lower in quantity than the standards and I was convinced that it was offered....., but no in the most definitely 3 euros. Suffice it to say that for 1/2 lt. for bulk white wine they ask for 8.90 euros... I would say the cost is a little high, speaking of a bike farm located in the countryside. I could understand the costs if the supply had to take place through impassable roads in perfect refuge style, but here you can easily get there with the van, really not!. I'm sorry because the place is very nice, the food I would say is decent but the prices need to be completely revised.

31/03/2024: If you go to Alta Badia you cannot miss the Maso Runch experience. Difficult to explain but everything of the highest quality Memorable

07/05/2024: We ate here a total of 5 times during our 7 day vacation. The dishes always tasted good, the service is super friendly and the price can't be beat. The pizzas in particular are very tasty.

23/03/2024: Excellent place in the center of Riva close to practically all the main attractions, nice atmosphere, good and digestible pizza with lots of variety, not the "usual pizzas". Even though I managed to have dinner without a reservation because I arrived at 7, I recommend making a reservation and going at least 15 minutes before so that if the parking lot in front is full you will be able to arrive on time.

21/02/2024: Posto accogliente....purtroppo il personale freddo e arrogante! la proprietaria soffocante e il figlio(penso) poco adatto alle relazioni con i clienti e molto arrogante! Ho avuto un problema con un dolce non servito correttamente e quando l'ho contestato sono stata trattata da incompetente....peccato che lavoro nel settore! Nessuno ha pensato di scusarsi con me. Da consiliare solo per un pranzo fugace ma allora Riva offre posti migliori!

25/04/2024: ...Incredible. In 2024 there are still places where entry to our canine friends is prohibited!!! The cost of a cappuccino (2.70 euros) seems a little excessive to me... but the ban on dogs is completely unacceptable!

21/02/2024: We returned this year (16-18 Feb) and rediscovered its fairytale charm which has remained intact. In fact I would say it has even improved. Whether summer or winter it is truly a fabulous place. Super staff, always ready to satisfy our needs or to always give targeted suggestions. Exceptional and high-level cuisine making the most of 0 KM products. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back, another dream weekend. Well done and thanks for everything

16/04/2024: My wife and I visited Igor and his lovely place in June. Just after the snow melted sort of between seasons? I found the place scrolling thru YouTube somehow and became entranced with the biking and skiing especially watching his family enjoy the surrounding majesty of the Dolomites. I think the first clip I saw was w Igor and Claudia hiking up To some little Capella having some cured meat and cheeses ands and heading down with a glass of wine in hand taking care not to spill and see who gets down first :) We headed over to chk the cycling which is world class. We would chk in w Igor download the ride and off we would go. Hah. I told my wife it was the “Snowbird” of the bike world. It didn’t go over well but the e-bikes helped. ALOT. for us anyway. Plenty of suffering to be had but since a lot of people have reviewed the restaurant we thought it would be fun to share our experiences. Getting there isn’t super direct but decent enough. If the trains are running. Except for the day we went there. Haha. So, being adaptable we called an Uber and ride shared w a nice lady doing a yoga retreat. $100€ later we arrived at the Ustaria. I tend to stress a bit when travel plans get derailed especially if you are trying to optimize your stay somewhere. That doesn’t involve sitting at a little railway station in Italy in a Sunday watching the wind blow the trees around. Upon arriving we made our way past the the quiet bar into a dining room where we were served some lovely, comforting pasta and some beers and wine. All Good. From there it just got better. The cycling was as beautiful a place on this planet to ride. We trudged up to Pralongia following our Garmin overlord and bombed down to Alta Badia stopping off at a rando golf course for fortification. Needless to say at the end of the day we were chuffed. Dinner was super hearty and the wine list was really great. The rooms? Chefs Kiss. Surgically clean. Window opened on the little stream in the back where the guys in milk trucks would stop for a double espresso in the am and a shot of schnapps at night. The bar was a fun mix of guys w lots of road dust in them and people in spandex. Igor would come out on occasion and sweep up. That was funny. Oh. And the mattresses? Mwah. Great spot. Wonderful people. Going back to ski next year.

13/03/2024: A must! It's not just the many beautiful videos that Igor makes with his family in Alta Badia that are great! You definitely have to eat and go to the bar. The whole village meets here.
