01/10/2024: For me it was a place that has seen me grow since I was a child. The fixed stop for mushroom growers and hunters, as well as tourists who go to San Galgano. I've seen a lot of management and it's always worse. The old owner owned the cream of Sienese cured meats and wood-fired bread for over 20 years ago. It was a pleasure to hear the crust crunch under your teeth. The hams were spectacular and you always left with three ounces to take home. Fantastic buristi and soprassate. And he also sold the mushrooms he made. Everything is now a memory. The bread is so loose that the pieces fall out on all sides, the ham.....I wonder if it was, oh well, I only tasted the pepper. Crumb to tasteless, the salami average but with that bread..... Not bad cheeses Excellent service, three/four quick, attentive people serving the tables and the counter. Even if there are many people they quickly serve everyone. Honest prices. They don't pull their necks. Very large sandwiches €4, honest The environment is pleasant and the view is beautiful. It's not what it used to be but it's nice to enjoy a nice platter after hard work in the woods. So I'm going back, but I'll bring the bread with me
