13/01/2024: Following fragrant traces left in the alleys of the centre, I move to unknown places where I find new sensations mixed with existing ones. With this sense of olfactory upheaval I approach a small room created in the rib of a cinema. Maybe it's because of this or the morning torpor, like in a film I enter into the plot of cream puffs, coffee and.... The impact changes the script and I see that the shop assistants, like in a Fellini film, prepare the shop windows to go on stage . The cream puff looks at me and like in "Alice in Wonderland" says eat me. The crumbliness of the chou paste gives way to the creamy and not very sweet consistency of the chocolate. The clue leads me to investigate as in an Aghata Christie film and I soon discover who the director is. In an inlet created adjacent to the main room, an alchemist prepares his sweet potions according to local tradition. His advanced age and the lack of helpers remind me that he is like "The Last of the Mohicans". When it disappears, a taste that has told the story of Pisa for generations will be lost. I wake up as if from a Woody Allen film and with sadness in my heart I let the smell pass through my skin to leave a trace of itself. To be preserved

30/03/2024: Unmissable stop in the center of Pisa: Ilaria's cappuccino is the best I've ever tried (the milk is a soft cream without air bubbles) and the desserts are at least as good as they are inviting: congratulations to this beautiful family of talents!

24/01/2024: We celebrated December 30-31 here and what I can say is that we had a wonderful time!!! Everything taken care of down to the smallest detail, AMAZING food, clean and warm rooms, very young and truly competent staff who were attentive to our every need. Highly recommended!!

05/12/2023: Quando ho voglia di mangiare il pesce il primo posto che mi viene in mente è sempre il MARTINI, qui si si mangia veramente bene, la qualità della materia è molto, molto buona, le porzioni generose, i tempi di attesa sono accettabili, la scelta è varia, la presentazione è adeguata, l'atmosfera accogliente, la carta dei vini apprezzabile. Questo ristorante ha, però, un valore aggiunto all'ottima qualità della materia prima ed al costo più che accettabile ed è la cortesia e l'arte del ricevere del suo titolare Raffa. Qualità che, ahimè , difetta molto al commercio pisano in generale. Piccoli gesti come versare un calice di prosecco all'arrivo, il dolcino e il liquore offerto a fine pasto, un sorriso ed i saluti al congedo si fanno apprezzare perchè denotano un'attenzione per il cliente il servizio attento, premuroso della magnifica .....mi perdoni la ragazza di cui mi sfugge il nome e del giovane assistente al tavolo completano la serata. Bravi tutti

27/11/2023: The cocktails themselves are not very good, some are not even made badly but the problem is that they are all watered down, they look like soft drinks, especially the sweeter ones which are almost alcohol-free and watery. A shame, because the aperitif food is very good and they have several board games around the place.

18/11/2023: It is located in Piazza della Pera in Pisa, which for some time has been pleasantly repopulated on weekday evenings, with students and university students who meet to disconnect from study activities and also with those like me who needed an evening with an old man friend to talk about their problems and other lighter topics. We drank a good prosecco and an excellent cocktail

01/04/2024: A small authentic cafe just off the main tourist walkway from the station. Amazing filled croissants, the pistachio one is great! €8,30 for 4 pastries and 2 coffees! Great value.

02/03/2024: Bel posto lo conosca da sempre vado spesso a fare colazione quando vado a Tirrenia..peccato hanno deciso di riempire i tramezzini credo per motivi di costo solo a metà da qualche tempo a discapito della qualità. Da amante dei tramezzini credo cambierò bar in futuro
