21/09/2025: Our friends (Monica and Alessandro) brought us there, telling us about the food and how it's done.
Everything was delicious and the highest quality products, from the sgabeo to the Colonnata lard.
The freshly cut cold cuts were incredibly delicious.
The rice cake was divine, and the lemon tart was incredible.
In short, I felt right at home and will definitely be back.
Highly recommended.
06/09/2025: Excellent place to try fantastic Colonnata lardo. Served with delicious cured meats and cheeses. The menu is a fixed price but generous. It's a small place, so reservations are recommended. The hosts are fantastic: friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely return if we're in the area. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: I pay by card... "It doesn't work" is an old story, especially if you only mention it at checkout without even warning them first, perhaps with a simple sign like some do.
Then, a soy latte macchiato costs €2.50...it costs less at the Autogril.

20/08/2025: This place is one of the few in the area, and indeed in Tuscany, where quality and price match. An aperitivo with endless snacks is a delight. The staff is always friendly and smiling. I recommend it to everyone.
07/08/2025: Excellent breakfast with good croissants, the Merusi bar is a meeting point for the young people of Cinquale especially if you leave the beach disco at 5.15 on Saturdays 🔝

18/08/2025: On Sunday, my husband and I went in around 11 a.m. for coffee. I wanted a cappuccino, but the milk frother's steam wands were three inches thick, and it gave me goosebumps.
20/07/2025: Every time we're in Cinquale in Versilia, Bar Elio becomes our regular breakfast spot. And we don't mind if we have to wait a bit to see each other and enjoy the pastries. We're always more than happy to do so. Everyone behind the counter is always smiling; everyone, despite not having a second off from their busy schedule, always has time for a joke and a kind word. Which makes the pastries and drinks even more special.
And look for a young Djokovic if you can find him!!

04/10/2025: Beautiful, unique, and very attentive to light, tasty, and healthy cuisine. The only risk is sitting outside facing the street due to the fast traffic. But it's a place you'll want to return to.

17/07/2025: The food was good, but the cocktails weren't great; the ingredients were obviously of poor quality (cheap alcohol and whipped cream). Despite this, the prices were slightly too high. Service was poor; the waitress didn't know what I'd ordered even though it was on the menu.

20/07/2025: Locale molto carino. Cibo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi onesti. Hanno preparato anche le varianti senza glutine per una persona celiaca. Prodotti tutti fatti da loro. Ottimo anche il vino e i dolci. Se devo trovare un piccolissimo "difetto" il sugo agli scampi era un po' povero avrei gradito qualche scampo in più c'era solo 1 scampo, ma siamo stati davvero benissimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglieremo. Anche il personale molto gentile.

Peccato, davvero un peccato. Siamo stati a fare una bevuta dopo cena insieme ad amici.
In 7 abbiamo preso da bere, 3 persone hanno preso la stesa bevuta…. E qui arriva il bello.
Le bevute erano tutte davvero buone, peró una di queste 3 bevute uguali, non sapeva di nulla e quindi lo abbiamo fatto presente chiedendo se era possibile rifarla o comunque migliorarla.
Sono tornate indietro 2 cameriere chiedendo cosa mancava secondo noi…… PESSIMA DOMANDA, dato che non siamo barman, ma semplicemente abbiamo fatto notare che la bevuta era diversa dalle altre 2.
Secondo voi ci hanno rifatto la bevuta ? NO: Hanno riportato la stessa bevuta piena di alcool come se quella fosse la soluzione….. COSA PEGGIORE NON POTEVANO FARLA, era imbevibile.
La ragazza quindi si è alzata per andare al bancone chiedendo di rifarla o comunque assaggiarla perché davvero NON SI POTEVA BERE.
DA QUI, il tracollo: il personale al banco, ha iniziato ad alzare la voce dicendo testuali parole… “se non sai bere vai da un’altra parte..” etc etc….. finendo per prendere una bevuta già pronta da un altro vassoio e darla alla ragazza che era con noi…. Mandandola via e continuando a “imprecare”
MA VI COSTAVA COSÌ TANTO RIFARE UNA BEVUTA CHE EFFETTIVAMENTE, AVENDOLA ASSAGGIATA IN 7 AL TAVOLO, ERA DIVERSA ?
Tutto questo casino per una bevuta ?
In più avete anche il coraggio di trattare male una cliente……..
Peccato, ripeto, le altre bevute tutte molto buone e il posto molto carino.
Bisogna saper stare al pubblico. Altrimenti si cambia lavoro.
