31/10/2023: Excellent food and service. The house specialties are fresh pasta with tasty but not greasy sauces. The only flaw: the blocked fireplace in the living room is really ugly.

25/04/2024: We as a family go every Sunday and sometimes during the week, I must say that everything is very good, the staff is really welcoming, the place is very quiet, it can be considered the best bar in Varese, so for me it's worth 5 stars ❤️
07/03/2024: Very good breakfast!! The seats outside are comfortable and in the little square, very nice! I was also surprised to find the veg cappuccino with soy milk! The only flaw: the bathrooms need improvement, but nothing to say about the food!

06/04/2024: The Barley House is the place with the widest choice of beer in Gallarate, both on tap and in bottles. There is also a decent choice of natural wines and ciders.
Varied food menu, with different vegetarian/vegan and non-vegetarian choices.
The staff is always friendly and willing to give you beer/food recommendations.
Well done! Place of the heart 🫶🏻

18/02/2024: Excellent choice of bottled beers, extremely varied, will certainly satisfy your thirst. It is probably the only real pub in the center of Gallarate, with a unique pirate ship atmosphere.
The piadinas and chicken wings are also good.
If you want to appear like a real local, order a priapism cocktail at Maurino aka the boss

19/02/2024: Mi sono fermato per fare colazione sta mattina in questo Bar a Malpensa Terminal 2, ho ordinato un cappuccino e una brioches integrale ai frutti di bosco, nulla di eccezionale, brioches industriale fatta pagare 2,50 euro , follia! idem cappuccino pieno di schiuma sempre 2,50 euro. Con questi prezzi dovrebbero offrire come minimo brioches di pasticceria riempite al momento!

Purtroppo alle 2 del mattino è l’unica soluzione per passare il tempo !

24/03/2024: TO NEVER AGAIN!!! I pass by there often and the other day I stopped to have a good coffee.... clean place and unfriendly staff as usual. I go to the cashier and say "a coffee" I pay and then I go to the counter, the girl says "tell me" and I reply "a latte thanks" she looks at the receipt and says "you told me at the cashier that you want it latte" and I reply "no, why did I have to say that?" and she said "yes, we need to specify because adding milk costs 10 cents more is the new rule". I'm shocked, I drink the coffee and go out without saying goodbye. ARE WE JOKING!!!
12/03/2024: Definitely a unique place of its kind, which is why I expected a sunny and familiar welcome and instead the lady didn't even smile at us, in fact she seemed annoyed by our requests. I am increasingly disconcerted when I see this attitude from those who work in contact with the public.
Too bad, I would have liked to try a few more products!

03/02/2024: Ogni tanto ci torniamo, il ristorante affaccia proprio sul lago, circondato da verde e dalla fattoria.
Tutto ottimo, servizio veloce, personale cordiale e presente.
prodotti genuini e di qualità.
Prezzi non proprio economici ma ogni tanto si può fare.
Dopo pranzo, si possono fare due passi all'interno delle fattoria per vedere gli animali oppure passeggiare sulla ciclo-pedonale fino al lago.
Consigliato.
01/02/2024: Ci siamo andati per puro caso, essendo a camminare in zona. Bella vista sul lago e soddisfatti dal cibo. Forse il sabato a pranzo però è più indicato per famiglie.

16/12/2023: I go to the piadina shop 2/3 times a week and it is not acceptable to see the three shop assistants always on duty behind the kitchen, leaving a queue to form almost close to the bathroom. I don't recommend it if you have a one-hour lunch break because you can't eat... too slow
We are still here with the same problem queuing for 40 minutes with 4 people behind in the kitchen making wraps and 35 people queuing at 12.42pm on 16/12/2023 inconceivable and unacceptable
08/12/2023: Very good piadina and very friendly and quick staff in preparing orders. Highly recommended.
