14/09/2025: Aside from the tartlets with pastry cream and pears, which I didn't like (the cream was tasteless, and half a cooked pear on top left me perplexed, both in terms of flavor and practicality), everything else was truly delicious! The atmosphere is welcoming and homey. Outside, there are loungers where you can happily indulge in that post-lunch nap... Who's going home again?!

14/09/2025: Truly extraordinary. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful. The atmosphere was informal but very refined. The price was absolutely fair.

26/07/2025: Very quiet place... It has excellent, quality beers!!!! I'd love to come back again!

15/06/2025: There's not much to say... good beer, delicious food and top atmosphere (vaguely reminiscent of the Hard Rock Cafè). Perhaps the best place / pub in Piacenza, if you're in the area you absolutely have to stop by. The only flaw: the lack of large parking lots in the area (but there's always the underground one of the Esselunga)

17/06/2025: Ordered a plate of nachos, and it was inedible!!! It was a jumble of stuff placed randomly without any criteria (mozzarella with paprika? But they don't even do this in America). In addition, the waiter brought us the plate with a napkin that, rightly, remained stuck on the nachos and they didn't even have the courage to change it. Poor quality burgers and a rather questionable choice on the menu (there was onion everywhere and if you asked to remove it they even looked at you badly). But excuse me, but at this point you call the place onion pub!!! Never again in a place like this. Too bad I can't give 0 stars!

07/06/2025: Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Too bad about the owner's service when it came to the bill! We got to the cashier to pay by card and the POS didn't work. The owner got agitated, exclaiming phrases like "what the f*** why did they have to invent cards when there was cash that was so convenient". And after 3 long attempts he told us "be good, go and withdraw" (the nearest ATM can only be reached by car). After 15/20 minutes of waiting we managed to pay, and they didn't even give us 1€ discount. It's really a shame because the waiters were very kind!

11/09/2025: The aperitifs are carefully prepared and refined, with quality ingredients and (!) plenty of them. The staff is welcoming and speaks English.

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!

19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

08/08/2025: If you want to eat excellent fish in the Piacenza area, cooked to perfection, Mamma is a must-visit: the fried and grilled dishes are superb. We haven't tried the scialatielli in crosta yet, but they look and smell inviting. Prompt service, good value.

17/05/2025: I found a girl who was rather grumpy and not at all sociable. I think she's in the wrong profession.
