09/09/2024: Accommodation close to the sanctuary of San Gabriele in Isola del Gran Sasso, a place with a panoramic view, family-run, extremely clean. Slow service as befits a restaurant that serves excellent home-grown food. Excellent appetizer and first courses, hot and plentiful. First courses: gnocchi with porcini mushrooms, ONLY porcini mushrooms, sausage and crispy bacon, and crescents with ricotta and yellow cherry tomatoes. Time tyrant we didn't have time to go further.
