22/04/2025: Disappointing Stay: Misleading Booking, Poor Service, and Unacceptable Conditions** My recent stay at this hotel was deeply frustrating and fell far short of expectations for a 4-star establishment. Below is a summary of the issues my family and I encountered: 1. Booking Confusion & Blame-Shifting Despite booking a family room in advance, we were informed upon arrival that no such room was available. The receptionist claimed Expedia had “downgraded” our reservation without notifying us. When I questioned this, the hotel blamed Expedia, while Expedia redirected responsibility to the hotel. This lack of accountability left my family waiting **over 3 hours** (we arrived at 5:30 PM, got a room at 9:45 PM), forcing us to cram into a friend’s room temporarily. 2. Unhygienic Room & Inconvenient Room Switch The first family room we were assigned reeked of a strong odor, prompting another complaint. Though staff initially claimed no alternatives existed, they suddenly “found” another family room. Even then, I had to assist staff in moving children’s beds, wasting precious time while my exhausted kids waited. 3. Non-Functional Amenities - **AC Issues**: The air conditioning was non-functional. The receptionist dismissively stated it’s “only turned on in summer,” ignoring guest comfort. If a hotel advertises AC, it should be available year-round. Missing Basics: No kettle was provided—a basic expectation for any hotel, let alone a 4-star one. 4. Subpar Facilities & Hidden Costs The hotel urgently needs renovation: outdated decor, poorly maintained rooms, and amenities like (if available) reportedly incur extra charges. The breakfast was passable but hardly compensated for the overall lack of value. 5. Zero Accountability or Compensation Despite the delays, stress, and discomfort, the hotel offered discount, or gesture of goodwill. Final Thoughts This hotel fails to deliver on its 4-star promises. The combination of misleading bookings, unprofessional service, broken amenities, and hidden costs makes it impossible to recommend. I advise travelers to seek alternatives with clearer policies and respect for guests’ time and money.
22/04/2025: No air conditioning. No electricity. They brought a lamp. Very far from everything. The breakfast was more varied than the previous ones.
