We were in Zwickmair in the evening on September 28th, 2024 and enjoyed the “von ols a bissl” menu on the terrace. Everything freshly prepared, South Tyrolean cuisine, creatively and modernly interpreted. Compliments to the kitchen. The service is quick and very friendly. We really enjoyed the evening, you can feel the passion with which the Grubers design this great place. We will be back!

After a wonderful and relaxing time in South Tyrol, we were able to spend our last evening in this very special place. If you are looking for a special atmosphere with great service, you have come to the right place. The food is exceptional! Everything homemade. Where can you still find this today? The menu is different every day... There is a sentence on the restaurant menu that describes it all for me: The Zwickmair - a Buschenschank where dumplings, hummus and vino dance together There were four of us, from different generations. Everyone went home with a smile, a lot of gratitude for this wonderful evening and anticipation for the next time. Many thanks to the entire team at Zwickmairhof Meran.

Dear Gruber family, dear Zwickmair team. We were with you on Friday, September 8th and really enjoyed it from the first minute until the moment we said goodbye. You have created a very loving atmosphere. We really enjoyed the wonderfully warm and very personal service. You can immediately feel your passion and the love you bring. A bit too expensive for the quality and quantity. 7 dumplings for 11 people, 7 baked apples for 9 people is simply not acceptable.

Nous étions la semaine dernière diner en terrasse en famille. Un décor unique et donc un endroit à particulièrement recommander, au vert avec vue exclusive sur les champs de pommes. L accueil très chaleureux, et la carte excellente avec produits de la région. L apéritif, délicieux , une bonne carte des vins aussi. L aubergine à la buffala, un vrai régal. Notre fils a adoré les Spätzle aux épinards. Le dessert maison très bon aussi... (Voir les photos!) Rapport qualité-prix très correct! Faites vous plaisir, venez découvrir ce petit paradis sur terre...

Sehr nettes Ambiente und Service, Essen (wir haben Panzanella als Vorspeise und Tafelspitz zum Hauptgang gegessen) war spitze! Zum Abschied noch einen gigantischen Grappa aufs Haus! Wir kommen wieder.

Rössl Cavallino Ristorante Pizzeria

06/02/2024: Modern atmosphere with fast service. But there was a film of water on the pizza and therefore the dough was much too soft. It was commented that this was normal in the Rössl. Actually a no-go.
20/01/2024: Had dinner here in an IPA group to celebrate a dean of the association. I took fuselli with swordfish, courgettes and tomatoes, excellent, everyone was satisfied. Those who took the pizza appreciated that even at the end the crust remained soft without becoming like the sole of a shoe. Fast and friendly service. Average quality-price ratio.

Pasticceria Hotel Olympia Appartamenti

22/03/2024: Excellent hotel. My triple room is spacious with a breathtaking view of the mountains of Val Venosta. Convenient location for the ski bus stop. Very kind staff. Excellent breakfast. They don't do dinner.
14/03/2024: In itself a solid hotel for the price (double room in March including breakfast €120). We got something else at short notice. Breakfast is solid. As others have pointed out, this is a grotesque attempt to save money. Grotesque because maximum annoyance for the guest is offset by minimal savings: - The sauna, which is very nice in itself, is only open 3 days a week (for example, if you are there Wednesday - Sunday, you have exactly 1 day of sauna) - Energy-saving lamps in the room (the ones that came out in the early 2000s and take about 30 seconds to light up) - Only 1 hairdryer per floor (those things don't cost €20...) - Motion detectors for lights switch the light on for about 10 seconds, so you are constantly in the dark The crowning glory is that only cash payment is accepted. Always leaves a bad aftertaste.
