September 3, 2020, at 8:30 PM, I was here with two friends. We went in. The restaurant has an entirely wooden interior (very nice). Unfortunately, the kitchens around here close early. We can only order pizza. A gentleman seats us and a lady takes our order. I order a Tyrolean pizza and a Forst beer. The lady also brings us a garlic sauce. Nothing to say except that everything was really good. The staff is very friendly. The prices are excellent, it's cheap. If I ever pass through this area again, I'd gladly return.

The food here is very good (as the thousands of other reviews attest), and the back room is wonderfully rustic, but it tastes even better when you learn about the history of the place. Old photos dating back to the 19th century adorn the walls, and the cellar was first documented around 1500. The waitress told us a lot about its history, and you can't help but wonder who has dined on these benches over the past 175 years. Highly recommended!

As always, this is a top-quality inn, with excellent and pleasant service and a more than fair value. The constant change in dishes, in keeping with the seasonal produce, is a welcome bonus compared to restaurants that have kept their menus unchanged for years. We always return eagerly and eagerly to try the latest dishes.
