ZUCCHERO A VELO' In Ancona

Very good food but terrible service… I often go to this place and every time I have to wait at least 40 minutes to receive the menu, they serve the desserts on the saucers of the coffee cups and not on the plates and they bring the orders on broken trays. Too bad the service is very neglected

I would summarize this pleasant experience with some adjectives: Young Fresh Original Friendly Inclusive Also worth highlighting is the precision with which allergens are indicated and the fact that they cannot guarantee the absence of gluten contamination. Therefore recommended for people sensitive to gluten, not for celiacs.

The service is always impeccable, the place is wonderful and scenic and you can eat practically at any time of the day. I have already recommended it to many and will continue to do so. I hope they open lots of icing sugar in all brands

Unfortunately my experience is not as positive as I would like. My boyfriend and I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday and I was a little disappointed. At least the food is good and the environment is nice. Given the beautiful day we chose to have lunch outdoors and were placed at a table that had no protection from the sun. Or at least, if there was, it hadn't been opened. Luckily it's not August or another hot month, but still the discomfort was high and we had to have our tables changed. Other people in our same condition also moved into the shade, so the discomfort wasn't just ours. As for the service, the waitress who served us was clearly nervous, which was evident from the pissed off attitude she had. This nervousness then exploded into an argument with the chef which I would have preferred not to witness. I'm not saying that there can't be bad days or internal disagreements, but the customer shouldn't witness certain scenes.

Powdered Sugar: A Vegan Discovery Not to Be Missed I recently visited "Zucchero a Velò" in Ancona, located in Via Torresi, an area that is certainly not famous for being touristy, but which hides a small culinary gem. My curiosity was immediately captured by the unique style of the restaurant's entrance, which anticipates the originality found inside. Once inside, the environment pleasantly surprised me: the interiors are particular and bring to mind an old elementary school, with details that evoke childhood memories and create a welcoming and out of the ordinary atmosphere. The menu is a real riot of vegan flavours, with excellent tasting platters that satisfy even the most demanding palates. The desserts, then, are simply excellent, prepared with care and attention to detail, managing to win over even those who do not follow a vegan diet. The quality-price ratio is definitely right, making "Zucchero a Velò" a restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try something different and of high quality. A culinary experience that is absolutely worth a visit!

It's always difficult to find vegan places when you go on holiday to unfamiliar locations, but with icing sugar we hit the nail on the head! A little gem in the middle of Ancona...excellent food, kind and helpful staff and the owner was super welcoming and genuine...like his place!

Paradiso per vegetariani, vegani e amanti della buona musica e delle due ruote. Il locale è arredato in maniera eclettica, i piatti proposti molto buoni, in particolare ho apprezzato i dolci come la pistacchio pie! Prima o poi ci tornerò per provare il brunch!
