Fabulous! It was a wonderful discovery in 2022 while driving around Puglia with friends, and after taking a wrong turn and getting lost among the olive trees and identical roads, we ended up in Torchiarolo. We entered Mr. Claudio and Mrs. Giovanna's restaurant and immediately knew it would be an unforgettable experience. Yesterday, returning to Trieste, we made a detour to return to the place we remembered. The food is always excellent, fresh fish cooked to perfection, and the welcome was unique. Catering done seriously and with professionalism is something few can match. Make sure to book, though. Mr. Claudio, a true professional, dedicates himself and his entire energy to his customers, refusing to fill the room to ensure perfection. Thank you Claudio and Giovanna! The location is clean and welcoming, modest with limited seating. There's a family-run atmosphere, and you're sure to find a warm welcome. The menu is extensive and offers something for every palate, with a clear preference for seafood. In the kitchen, the wife prepares everything freshly, and the freshness of the ingredients is certainly appreciated, with adequate and somewhat generous portions. In the dining room, the husband is the sole handler of all the customers: welcoming, ordering, serving and restocking, and cashiering. In some ways, despite his charm, I found him a bit inappropriate, at times almost touchy, and even displaying annoyance toward customers. Since there are more than two of us, we've noticed this with more than a few of us, and with others as well. Well, perhaps it's part of the local folklore, but certainly a person with consolidated professional experience. Overall, I consider it a positive experience for the food, but in other aspects I was not entirely satisfied, especially when on the way home, I noticed from the receipt that they had made a mistake in the bill, adding a first course that I had never ordered (given the number of diners, the error in the bill was obvious).

We went to the restaurant for a seafood dinner (both raw and cooked), and we have to say it was a truly special experience. The fish was incredibly fresh, of a quality that's hard to find, and every bite was a delight. Special praise goes to the owners, who were truly warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The friendly atmosphere and their kindness made the evening even more enjoyable, allowing us to fully enjoy the authentic flavors of Puglia. And to top it all off, the price was more than fair, considering the high quality of what we ate. In short, it's a place we highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy good seafood in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Thanks again for a wonderful evening, we'll definitely be back!

Niche restaurant, with great customer care and excellent quality of raw materials, it lacks a little in speed of service, but the friendliness of the staff makes the wait pleasant.

Con spirito costruttivo, faccio notare che la parola “affianco” è la prima persona singolare del presente indicativo del verbo affiancare. Per dire che il ristorante è di coste alla banca, si scrive “a fianco”. Il ristorante ha il merito di essere l’unica risorsa in una vasta area gastronomicamente avvilente. Gli ambienti sono confortevoli, il personale è molto disponibile, ma la televisione accesa non è cosa che si può vedere. La cucina è fatta di cose semplici e gustose, senza guizzi di imprevedibilità . I prezzi sono bassi. Auguri.

Ristorante accogliente e ben curato, CLAUDIO E GIOVANNA persone con oltre 40 anni di esperienza ti fanno capire il vero servizio e la vera cucina di pesce facendo cadere tutte le esperienze passate. Se devi mangiare pesce fresco lavorato con alta competenza allora siete nel posto giusto. Abbiamo preso un carpaccio misto mare e 2 tagliolini neri allo scoglio..finendo con 2 spumoni artigianali amari e caffè. Dire che siamo rimasti super soddisfatti è davvero poco. Ci ritorneremo consiglio assolutamente !
