the words could be biased after what happened tonight inside the restaurant....I felt like the King of the house.....the food there is unparalleled....but the service surpasses the goodness of the cuisine. .....I would return from Rome at least once a month....I will do so at least every three months.... THANK YOU!!!!

Ci eravamo già stati e ne eravamo rimasti entusiasti. Oggi siamo tornati con una coppia di amici. Confermata l’eccellenza ! Lodi al crudo freschissimo e di alta qualità . I primi ottimi, lo spumone squisito ( e l’olio ! E i talloni! E le olive! E la caciotta con marmellata di amarene!). I proprietari, poi, aggiungono quel tocco di genuina “pugliesita’” che completa il quadro e che è fatta di cortesia, competenza, simpatia ed empatia. Se vi capita di andare verso il magico Salento non perdetevelo! Sarà una gioia per il palato e vi ritroverete a chiacchierare piacevolmente con l’esperto gestore e a fare i complimenti alla Signora senza accorgervi del tempo che passa.

Super recommended. Superlative cavatelli, legumes and mussels. My celiac wife ate an excellent fried dish with rice flour. Very friendly and helpful. Extremely reasonable cost.

Fresh fish, cooked and served to perfection. Refined, discreet environment but with very kind and friendly owners. Excellent quality/price, so I absolutely recommend going there, moving away from much more renowned tourist locations.

Had to tell the owner how much I loved the food afterwards...so google translate helped. Absolutely wonderful food, definitely recommend all of it. Grazie!! 😍 (I watched him serve more meals at other tables... oh boy!...get those dishes for several people, they look AMAZING!!)

28/08/2024: Just the best. Popped in on the off chance on our way to the airport. The lovely Anne and me were looking to round off a great trip with a delicious meal. Christian was the best host. The wine succulent and moorish. The pasta- seafood for me , prawn for the lovely was just superb. Subtle tasty and perfect. Go there. My nes friend will make you most welcome
25/08/2024: Very delicious seafood restaurant that provides the option of just having single platters which was what we went for. Loved the squid stuffed with chickpeas and potatoes puree. The desert was a chocolate mousse+cottage cheese type which was perfectly balanced (not too sweet, not too creamy, not too chocolaty, and cold) which finished our delicious dinner. The service was very kind and made adjustments to the food for my pregnant wife (and asked ahead which no other restaurant did during our time in Puglia, which we thought was very thoughtful and mindful of them!) which was very kind. The restaurant sits near then end of the busy shopping street but it’s quieter than which is great to allow one to enjoy the food and relax while sitting outside. But the inside of the restaurant looks very nice as well, but we chose outside due to the very warm weather that we wanted to enjoy.

27/08/2024: Last Saturday, during the visit to the G7 exhibition at the Norman Swabian castle of Mesagne, we had lunch in this restaurant. Spaghettomi with lobster and flaky ice cream. Everything beyond expectations. The freshness and quality of the ingredients, the taste, their presentation, the discreet, efficient, impeccable service, the welcoming environment, made this experience pleasant. Definitely recommended, also for the excellent value for money. Thanks to all the staff.
26/08/2024: It was a fantastic dinner with high quality food and even better service! The antipasti are delicious and the daily menus were really good too! We came as family of 4 with two small girls and enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the apple juice 😉 Please stay that way! Thanks again!
